It includes an electronic circuit which activates a first indicator green upon an ideal impact detected by impact of a golf club head on pressure-sensitive impact sensors 210 in the first region, a second indicator yellow upon a thin impact, or the third indicator red upon a fat shot impact detected by the impact sensors 210. The golf training aid 100 also includes a wearable module 700 attached to the golfer's waist. It includes an accelerometer which measures rotational motion of the wearable device 700 and wirelessly transmits a signal to a base module 600 which activates an indicator to show under-rotation, proper rotation and over-rotation of the golfer's hips at impact of the golf ball 305.

SWING PRACTICE DEVICE FOR EMITTING LIGHT AT IMPACT THROUGH SELF-GENERATION
20210146217 · 2021-05-20 ·

A swing practice device for emitting light at impact through self-generation enables an impact moment to be checked with the naked eyes without needing a battery by emitting light at an impact time point through self-generation during swinging by using a golf club, a baseball bat, and the like. The swing practice device includes a power generation magnet provided to a shaft so as to slide in the longitudinal direction of the shaft during swinging; a power generation coil provided on the circumference of a section in which the power generation magnet moves; a light-emitting lamp connected to the power generation coil so as to be turned on by the movement of the power generation magnet; and a magnet control means for preventing the movement of the power generation magnet at a set swing speed or lower.

Information-Presentation Structure with Visible Record of Color-changed Print Area at Impact Location

A variable-color region (106) of an information-presentation structure extends to an exposed surface (102) at a surface zone (112) and normally appears along it as a principal color. An impact-dependent portion (138) of the variable-color region responds to an object (104) impacting the zone at an object-contact area (116) by temporarily appearing along a closely matching print area (118) of the zone as changed color materially different from the principal color if the impact meets threshold impact criteria. Object-tracking apparatus (808) tracks movement of the object over the surface and provides an image-causing tracking impact signal when the object impacts the zone according to the tracking. An image-generating system (802, 842, 1152, or 1182) responds to at least the impact signal by generating a print-area vicinity image consisting of an image of the print area and adjacent area of the surface.

Golf ball placement system and a method of operating the same

A golf system. The golf system includes a computing device associated with a user at a playing surface having at least one landmark object. The computing device includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may store processor-executable instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to: obtain topography data associated with a virtual golf hole for a virtual golf ball; determine a target destination location for the virtual golf ball on the playing surface based on the topography data and an anticipated virtual golf ball trajectory; and generating signals for communicating the target destination location and a ball placement location on the playing surface.

TRAINING UTILIZING A TARGET COMPRISING STRIKE SECTORS AND/OR A MAT COMPRISING POSITION SECTORS INDICATED TO THE USER

Disclosed is a method, a device, a system and/or a manufacture of training utilizing a target comprising strike sectors and/or a mat comprising position sectors indicated to the user. In one embodiment, a method for combat training, athletic training, and workout includes determining a position sector ID from a training file associated with a position sector visually identified on a mat including a position detector. A strike sector ID is determined associated with a strike sector on a strike target capable comprising a strike detector and capable of receiving a strike from a human extremity. A first indicator signal is generated to communicate the foot placement to the user and a second indicator signal communicates the strike sector. A strike signal is received from the strike and/or a position signal is received from the foot placement on the mat. The user's strike and/or positioning performance may be assessed.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL TARGET SYSTEM FOR BALL GAME SPORTS
20210031082 · 2021-02-04 ·

The present invention relates to a three-dimensional target system for ball game sports and, more specifically, to a three-dimensional target system for ball game sports in which a target, suspended in midair by using a drone or a sphere, is hit. A three-dimensional hitting system using ball game sports, of the present invention has an object to be hit disposed in reality rather than in an image, thereby enabling a direct experience of a hitting sense or hitting an object against a target, such that a game can become more fun. In addition, the present invention have a drone, which is applied thereto and can be flight-controlled in midair so as to allow the object to be hit to move to various positions and return to an original position thereof, thereby enabling a user to experience a new type of game and the use of drones to increase.

An information processing system includes processing circuitry that is configured to receive input data from a shock sensor which outputs data based on a shock on the shock sensor, and identify a target segment of time-series data that is output from a motion sensor that senses a motion of an object. The target segment includes a pre-shock portion that occurs before the shock event and a post-shock portion that occurs after the shock event, the shock event is recognized based on the data from the shock sensor.

Sensors in a golf teeing booth are used to: detect that a ball has be driven and estimate a predicted ball landing point on a golf practice range. A mobile unmanned golf ball retrieval vehicle, sometimes referred to as a gofer, determines a precise ball location on the field and reports the results to a control system. The control system updates the golfer's score based on the determined precise ball location.

A variable-color region (106) extends to an exposed surface (102) at a zone (112) and normally appears along it as a principal color. The region responds to an object (104) impacting the zone sufficiently hard at an object-contact area (116) by providing an impact signal identifying a criteria-meeting area (1626) where threshold impact criteria are met. Responsive to the impact signal and possibly to supplemental impact criteria being met, a controller (1622) produces a representation of a print area (118) from a representation of the criteria-meeting area by smoothening its perimeter and provides an initiation signal designating a location in the zone for the print area such that it closely matches the object-contact area. An impact-dependent portion (138) of the region responds to the initiation signal and possibly to a tracking condition being met by temporarily appearing along the print area as changed color materially different from the principal color.
