Listen Before Talk Procedure and Bandwidth Part Switching
A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a first bandwidth part (BWP) and a second BWP of an unlicensed cell. A first contention window is determined for a first listen before talk (LBT) procedure for a first channel of the first BWP. Based on switching from the first BWP to the second BWP, a second contention window is determined to be a minimum contention window, of a plurality of contention windows, for a second LBT procedure of a second channel of the second BWP. A transport block is transmitted, via the second BWP, based on the second LBT procedure using the second contention window.
Listen Before Talk Procedure and Uplink Switching
A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a first uplink carrier and a second uplink carrier of an unlicensed cell. A first contention window is determined for a first listen before talk (LBT) procedure for a first channel of the first uplink carrier. Based on switching from the first uplink carrier to the second uplink carrier, a second contention window is determined to be a minimum contention window, of a plurality of contention windows, for a second LBT procedure of a second channel of the second uplink carrier. A transport block is transmitted, via the second uplink carrier, based on the second LBT procedure using the second contention window.
Apparatus, method and computer program
An apparatus comprises: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: use a first base station central unit coupled to a first base station distributed unit in dependence on a computational capacity of the first base station central unit.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to an electronic device, a wireless communication method, and a computer-readable storage medium. The electronic device according to the present disclosure comprises a processing circuit that is configured to: generate downlink control information (DCI), which comprises scheduling information of a first channel used by the electronic device to transmit data to a relay user equipment (UE) and scheduling information of a second channel used by the relay UE to forward the data to a remote UE, the size of the DCI being the same as that of a DCI format for downlink scheduling or a DCI format for direct link scheduling; and transmit the generated DCI to the relay UE. By using the electronic device, wireless communication method, and computer-readable storage medium according to the present disclosure, a resource scheduling process in a data transmission process using relay technology can be simplified, thereby reducing delay.

Adaptive sectoring of a wireless base station
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for adaptive sectoring of a wireless base station are disclosed. An apparatus includes a base station, wherein the base station includes a communication processing system operative to perform baseband processing of receive or transmit baseband signals. The base station further includes a plurality of antennas, wherein the plurality of antennas are connected to the communication processing system, wherein a plurality of subsets of the plurality of antennas operate to form a plurality of sectors, wherein each sector of each subset of the plurality of antennas is operative to cover a coverage area as determined by a beamforming pattern formed by a subset of the plurality of antennas of the sector, wherein the coverage area of one or more of the sectors is adaptively selected based on an existing cell site located within the coverage area of the one or more sectors.
Providing Utilization Information for Intelligent Selection of Operating Parameters of a Wireless Access Point
Aspects of the disclosure are directed toward intelligently selecting the operating parameters of wireless access points (WAPs) deployed in a wireless environment so as to minimize or at least reduce interference in that wireless environment. A WAP continually measures the characteristics of the wireless channels used in the wireless environment and obtains measurements of channel metrics for those channels. The WAP stores the channel metric measurements as a channel metric history and analyzes the channel metric history to determine correlations between the channel metric measurements and various timeframes. The WAP selects one or more of its operating parameters based on the channel metric history and the correlations identified. Operating parameters include the radio frequency band and channel to transmit on. A centralized control server may also receive, store, and analyze channel metric histories from multiple WAPs and issue instructions to those WAPs identifying values for their respective operating parameters.
