DOPPLER MEASUREMENT-BASED HANDOVER
An operating method of user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a user capability including receive performance information of the UE to a serving cell, receiving a Doppler parameter generated based on the user capability and radio resource control (RRC) configuration information, from the serving cell, measuring reference signal received power (RSRP) of a reference signal and a Doppler shift with reference to the RRC configuration information, and reporting, to the serving cell, an RSRP_Doppler value, which is a signal metric calculated based on the measured RSRP, the measured Doppler shift, and the Doppler parameter.
System and methods to provide aerial backhaul connectivity to terrestrial base stations
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device detecting a disruption in a backhaul network and connecting to an aerial device to establish an alternate backhaul connection. The device may incorporate all or a portion of a terrestrial base station and may tilt one or more antenna beams skyward to search for the aerial device. The device may then relay communications from user equipment to the aerial device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
CONTROL DEVICE, COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM, SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD
Provided is a control device which controls a flight vehicle which forms a multi-cell including a plurality of cells on a ground to provide a wireless communication service to user terminals in the multi-cell, the control device including an output control unit which performs control such that in response to a state where a second flight vehicle which is to replace a first flight vehicle controlled by the control device has started forming a plurality of cells to be aligned with a position of each of the plurality of cells formed by the first flight vehicle, each of the plurality of cells formed by the second flight vehicle being in a same frequency band as that of each of the plurality of cells formed by the first flight vehicle, radio wave output of the plurality of cells of the first flight vehicle continuously falls.
CELL SELECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application relates to a cell selection method and apparatus. In an example method, a terminal device performs measurement based on measurement configuration information of N cells and determines M candidate cells based on a measurement result. N is an integer greater than 0, and M is an integer greater than 0 and less than N. The example method further includes the terminal device selecting a target cell from the M candidate cells based on first information. The first information includes coverage information of at least one candidate cell in the M candidate cells.
Aperiodic System Information Broadcast
A method performed by a wireless device (110b, 110c) comprises receiving (612) system information (SI) broadcast from a network node, the SI broadcast received according to an aperiodic configuration. In particular embodiments, the aperiodic configuration comprises an initial period followed by a subsequent period, wherein a frequency of the SI broadcast during the initial period is greater than a frequency of the SI broadcast during the subsequent period. The initial period may occur when a satellite takes over coverage of a geographical area in which the wireless device is located, and the subsequent period may occur while the satellite maintains coverage of the geographical area in which the wireless device is located.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING SATELLITE BACKHAUL INFORMATION
A method for determining satellite backhaul information includes: determining the satellite backhaul information corresponding to a terminal; in which the satellite backhaul information comprises any of the following information: information of whether the terminal is using a satellite backhaul, information of whether a network type of the satellite backhaul used by the terminal is changed, information of whether the terminal is located within a first cell; in which the first cell is a cell supporting the satellite backhaul, the terminal is located within a second cell, and whether the terminal is using the satellite backhaul depends on the second cell.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING FREQUENCY POINT AND TERMINAL DEVICE
Embodiments of the present application provide methods for determining a frequency point and a terminal device. A method includes: a terminal device receives Doppler frequency offset assistance information; and the Doppler frequency offset assistance information is used to determine an actual frequency point to be measured or an actual frequency point of downlink synchronization of a target cell.
Ephemeris Data Signaling-Delta Over Time
According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises: receiving a broadcast of full ephemeris data for a serving cell satellite, the broadcast of full ephemeris data occurring at a first periodicity; determining a position of the serving cell satellite based on the full ephemeris data; receiving a broadcast of delta ephemeris data for the serving cell satellite, the broadcast of delta ephemeris data occurring at a second periodicity more frequent than the first periodicity; and determining a position of the serving cell satellite based on the full ephemeris data and the delta ephemeris data.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENTS FOR UE MOBILITY BETWEEN NTN AND TN
Methods and apparatuses for measurements for UE mobility between an NTN and a TN. A method of operating a UE comprises: identifying terrestrial network (TN) neighboring cell information received from a non-terrestrial network (NTN), wherein the TN neighboring cell information includes at least TN neighboring cell geographical area; identifying a location of the UE; determining, based on the location of the UE and the TN neighboring cell information, whether to measure TN neighboring cells; identifying, based on a determination that TN neighboring cells are measured, one or more TN neighboring cells among the TN neighboring cells; and measuring the one or more TN neighboring cells for a cell reselection operation.
Method for wireless communication, terminal, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A method for wireless communication includes that: a terminal reports at a first protocol layer a first event to a second protocol layer; the first event indicates that quality of a signal in a first signal set is bad enough to satisfy a first condition; determines at the second protocol layer occurrence of a second event when a number of times that the first event has successively occurred exceeds a threshold; and sends a first message to a network device, the first message indicates a signal in the second signal set, of which signal quality is good enough to satisfy a third condition; occurrence of the first event includes occurrence of beam failure instance, the occurrence of the second event includes occurrence of beam failure, and the second event indicates that link quality corresponding to the signal in the first signal set is bad enough to satisfy a second condition.
