CONCURRENT SERVICES OF NON-PUBLIC AND PUBLIC NETWORKS

Methods of providing service continuity with respect to a service of a first network for a user equipment and a service of a second network for the user equipment, as well as a user equipment and networks being adapted to be operated according to the methods are disclosed.

USER EQUIPMENT REQUESTED RADIO LINK ADAPTATION OPERATIONS

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a change of one or more reception conditions. The UE may transmit, to a base station and based at least in part on the change of the one or more reception conditions, a request for a radio link adaptation operation to update one or more of a reception beam or a transmission beam of the base station used to communicate with the UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND NETWORK DEVICE
20230199709 · 2023-06-22 ·

The present application relates to an information processing method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: processing, by the terminal device, identity information of a first network slice and/or identity information of the terminal device to perform an access procedure.

Multi-media multi-modulation and multi-data rate mesh network

A node having a multiple protocol receiver may listen to multiple links in parallel and determine a quality of links having multiple communication technologies between the node and multiple neighbor nodes. The multiple communication technologies may include radio frequency (RF) communication technologies and one or more power line communication (PLC) communication technologies. The node determines a link quality metric for each link associated with an optimum communication technology and data rate, and maintains availability information of neighbor nodes. The node may then route communications to neighbor nodes using the link quality metric and the availability information.

CONTROL STATION, MOBILE STATION, MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION METHOD

A mobile station that establishes a first transfer path by way of a first access network between the mobile station and a control station. The mobile station establishes a default EPS (Evolved Packet System) bearer by way of a second access network between the mobile station and the control station by transmitting an attach request for requesting a handover of a partial flow among the plurality of flows when performing transmission/reception of a plurality of flows with the control station by using the first transfer path.

Device and Method of Handling a Handover
20170353895 · 2017-12-07 ·

A communication device for handling a handover comprises a storage device for storing instructions and a processing circuit coupled to the storage device. The processing circuit is configured to execute the instructions stored in the storage device. The instructions comprise receiving a handover command via a radio resource control (RRC) connection on a first cell from a first base station (BS); synchronizing to a downlink (DL) of a second cell indicated in the handover command; transmitting a handover complete message to the second cell in response to the handover command without performing a random access (RA) procedure to the second cell, if the handover command indicates no need to perform the RA procedure to the second cell; and determining that the handover is successful, when detecting a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) on a DL channel from the second cell in a first time period.

Communication Method and Apparatus
20230189102 · 2023-06-15 ·

A communication method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes a first terminal device determines a candidate relay device, where the candidate relay device includes at least one relay device, and sends a first message to a second terminal device, where the first message is used to request to change a relay device, and the first message includes an identifier of the candidate relay device. In the foregoing manner, the first terminal device may determine the candidate relay device, and send the first message to the second terminal device, so that the second terminal device can determine a second relay device from the candidate relay device based on the first message. In this way, a relay device between the first terminal device and the second terminal device can be changed from a first relay device to the second relay device.

NETWORK TRANSFER METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE

This application discloses a network transfer method, an apparatus, and a device, and relates to the communications field. The method includes: receiving first extended steering of roaming SOR information sent by a network side device; in a case that the terminal device supports the a capability of negotiating extended SOR, determining a priority of an ongoing service based on the first extended SOR information; and performing a transfer operation matching the priority of the ongoing service, where the transfer operation is an operation that the terminal device transfers from a currently camping public land mobile network PLMN to a target PLMN.
