Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: A network device sends first signaling to a terminal device on a downlink primary component carrier, where the first signaling includes configuration information of a secondary cell; the network device sends second signaling to the terminal device; and the network device determines, based on a channel state information CSI report and/or feedback signaling received from the terminal device, that the terminal device successfully activates the secondary cell.

SIDELINK ANCHOR GROUP FOR SIDELINK POSITION ESTIMATION
20230050701 · 2023-02-16 ·

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a position estimation entity provides assistance data to sidelink anchors and a UE. The assistance data may include a set of proximity-based sidelink positioning reference signal (PRS) pre-configurations for on-demand PRS position estimation. The target UE transmits a sidelink PRS trigger to trigger an on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation session with a dynamic sidelink anchor group, the sidelink PRS trigger configured to indicate a sidelink zone associated with the UE and a proximity requirement for participation in the on-demand sidelink PRS position estimation. At least one sidelink anchor determines that the proximity requirement to the sidelink zone is satisfied, selects a proximity-based sidelink PRS pre-configuration based on a dynamic proximity to the sidelink zone, and performs a sidelink PRS exchange with the UE.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING MULTI-UNIVERSAL SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY MODULE OPERATIONS

A method for a UE to perform a MUSIM operation is provided. The method includes connecting to a first network associated with a first USIM; transmitting a request message to the first network, the request message including assistance information to request a time gap for the MUSIM operation; receiving a first time gap configuration from the first network in a case that a type of the time gap requested by the UE is aperiodic, the first time gap configuration indicating a starting SFN and a starting subframe of a first configured time gap; and in a case that the UE receives the first time gap configuration, switching to a second network, while keeping a connection to the first network, during the first configured time gap according to the first time gap configuration, the second network being associated with a second USIM.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ASYNCHRONOUS AND SYNCRHONOUS WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS UTILIZING A SINGLE RADIO
20230052555 · 2023-02-16 ·

Devices and methods to provide simultaneous asynchronous and synchronous wireless communications, wherein communications with at least one wireless device are established using an asynchronous operation mode utilizing a first frequency band of a single radio device; and, the asynchronous operation mode is interrupted at periodic intervals to establish a synchronous operation mode utilizing a second frequency band of the single radio device, wherein the synchronous operation mode comprises: during a first of the periodic intervals, advertising at least a first of a plurality of available communication slots and listening for a slot petition from at least one end device; and, if a petition is received from at least one end device, assigning one of the plurality of available communication slots to each end device from which a petition was received, wherein each slot utilizes Coordinated Sampled Listening for both uplink and downlink communications with an assigned end device.

The technologies described herein are generally directed to modeling radio wave propagation in a fifth generation (5G) network or other next generation networks. For example, a method described herein can include receiving, from a user equipment located in a network coverage area, a request to establish a connection to second network equipment via a network comprising the first network equipment. The method can further include determining that the network coverage area comprises an area with multiple network coverage enabled by the second network equipment and third network equipment via the network. Further, based on the determining that the network coverage area comprises the area with the multiple network coverage, communicating, to the user equipment, information that indicates that the connection is to be delayed by a time period.
