Communications method and apparatus
A communications method includes receiving, by user equipment (UE), a first message from a network side, where the first message is used to indicate to the UE to perform circuit switched fallback (CSFB) as a called party, where the first message includes first information, and where the first information is used to indicate an incoming call number. If it is determined that a preset condition is met, the communications method further includes sending a second message to the network side, where the second message is used to indicate that the CSFB is rejected, and where the preset condition includes at least one of the incoming call number is restricted or the UE is in a mode of automatically rejecting a CSFB incoming call.
Access control related method, base station, and user equipment
The present disclosure provides an access control method performed at user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving, from a base station, multiple pieces of access control information corresponding to multiple network types; using the received multiple pieces of access control information to respectively perform an access control check for the multiple network types of networks; starting an access barring timer according to an access control check result; and if the access barring timer times out, informing an upper layer of the UE that barring of access is removed. The present disclosure also provides an access control configuration method for UE performed at a base station, corresponding UE, and a corresponding base station.

Radio link failure (RLF) procedure with generic cell group management
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One example method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) includes detecting a radio link failure (RLF) condition for a connection between the UE and a network over a first cell group and determining, in response to detecting the RLF condition, whether an air interface resource allocation is available for a signaling radio bearer (SRB) between the UE and the network over another cell group. The method also includes selecting, based at least in part on the determination, one of a plurality of RLF procedures. In some examples, the UE may select a first RLF procedure that fully releases radio resources when no SRB is available and a different, second RLF procedure that partially when an SRB is available between the UE and the network over a second cell group.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING SESSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for allowing a user equipment (UE) to manage a session in a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the UE may transmit a first uplink (UL) non-access stratum (NAS) transport message including a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request to an access and mobility management function (AMF), receive a downlink (DL) NAS transport message from the AMF, and transmit a second UL NAS transport message including the PDU session establishment request based on a timer.

USER EQUIPMENT (UE)
Provided are procedures for initial UE registration and periodic or movement-based registration, and a communication unit to achieve management of the maximum number of UEs connected to each slice in 5GS. Furthermore, a method for managing a timer running after completion of the registration procedure, and a method of registration procedure and a communication unit for both a UE in which the timer is running and a UE in which the timer is not running are provided, thus providing a communication unit to implement functions related to the management of the maximum number of UEs connected to each slice in 5GS.

PAGING RESPONSE METHOD, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a paging response method, a terminal and a network device. The paging response method includes: in the case of determining not to respond to a paging message, sending an indication message, where the indication message is used to indicate not to respond to the paging message.
