GRACEFUL LEAVING PROCEDURE FOR MULTIPLE USIM UE

A method, UE, and computer programs are provided where the UE has multiple universal subscriber identity modules. Information is received from a first PLMN indicating there is one of mobile terminating (MT) signaling or data in the first PLMN while the UE is in a second PLMN. Responsive to receiving the information, a service request is sent to an AMF node of the second PLMN. A radio resource control (RRC) connection release is received from a RAN node in response to sending the service request. Responsive to receiving the RRC connection release, the second PLMN is left to be in the first PLMN.

RELAY COMMUNICATION

A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for an AMF node to communicate. The method comprises the steps of: receiving, from a UDM node, updated subscriber information about a Remote UE; determining whether to stop a service to the Remote UE on the basis of the updated subscriber information about the Remote UE; and transmitting, to a Relay UE communicating with the Remote UE, a deregistration request message requesting deregistration of the Remote UE.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

In a case where a communication apparatus 102 communicates, via a first frequency channel, an establishment request for establishing a connection with a communication apparatus 103 via a second frequency channel different from the first frequency channel that complies with the same communication standard as a connection via the first frequency channel, or a disconnection request for disconnecting the connection, the communication apparatus 102 establishes or disconnects the connection with the communication apparatus 103 via the second frequency channel.

Transmission control method and device

Provided are a transmission control method and device. The method includes that: a Control Plane (CP) network element receives a data transmission feedback message and/or a bearer management message sent by a User Plane (UP) network element, where the bearer management message is determined by the UP network element according to data transmission quality between the UP network element and a Distributed Unit (DU), and the data transmission feedback message is configured to indicate data transmission states of the UP network element and the DU; and a bearer of the UP network element is managed according to the data transmission feedback message and/or the bearer management message.

DEVICE POWER SAVING METHOD AND DEVICE POWER SAVING APPARATUS

The present disclosure provides device power saving methods and apparatuses. A method is applied to a first device which simultaneously communicates data frames with a second device via multiple links and includes: generating a first message frame including an identifier information bit used to indicate that the first device is a candidate to enter a sleep mode in one or more links of the multiple links; by sending the first message frame to the second device and receiving a second message frame fed back by the second device, whether to enter a sleep mode in a sleep-mode-candidate link indicated by the identifier information bit is determined based on the second message frame used to confirm or reject the first device to enter a sleep mode in the sleep-mode-candidate link indicated by the identifier information bit. The method may determine whether a device enters a sleep mode under multi-link communication.

Reducing signaling for data over non-access stratum via an SGI interface

The embodiments herein relate to reducing signaling for DoNAS (Data over Non-Access Stratum) via SGi. In one embodiment, there proposes a method (400) in a mobility management node (203), comprising: establishing (S401) an S11-U connection between the mobility management node (203) and a gateway node (204); monitoring (S402) the frequency of data transferring request for a wireless device (201); and deciding (S404) whether or not to release the S11-U connection based on the frequency of data transferring request. With the embodiments herein, the signaling between the mobility management node and the gateway node can be significantly reduced, without introducing extra signaling or message to the existing network.

Method of processing establishment of MA PDU session, and AMF node and SMF node

A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for processing establishment of a protocol data unit (PDU) session by an access and mobility management function (AMF) node. The method may include a step of receiving a PDU session establishment request message from a user equipment (UE) via either a first access or a second access. The PDU session establishment request message may include information indicative of a multi access (MA) PDU session. The method may include a step of selecting a session management function (SMF) node supporting the MA PDU session on the basis of the information indicative of the MA PDU session. The method may include a step of sending the PDU session establishment request message to the SMF node supporting the MA PDU session.

5G new radio de-registration procedures

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform methods for de-registration of the wireless device from a first access type over a second access type. Methods also include procedures for maintaining state machines associated with both access types as well as procedures to determine a connection for re-transmitting a de-registration request and to avoid collisions between procedures associated with the first and second access types. Further, methods include an information element configured to indicate which access type has been de-registered.
