Maintaining a Packet-Switched Signaling Connection during Handover between Cells
Methods and apparatus are provided to reduce service interruption for intra-RAT and inter-RAT handover procedures. The UE performs a NAS signaling procedure via a NAS signaling connection in a mobile communication network. The UE monitors a radio resource status and determines whether a radio bearer has been or is being established for a RRC connection for data transmission. The UE determines whether to release the NAS signaling connection after completing the NAS signaling procedure based on whether the radio bearer has been established. In one embodiment, the UE monitors a radio resource status and determines whether a radio bearer has been established for a RRC connection for data transmission. The UE determines whether to start a timer upon completing the NAS signaling procedure based on whether the radio bearer has been or is being established.
METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST ENTITY MANAGEMENT
The present application provides an HARQ entity management method which is executed by a user equipment or a medium access control (MAC) entity in the user equipment. The HARQ entity management method includes: initializing an HARQ entity corresponding to a secondary serving cell group when a first secondary cell in a secondary serving cell group is added, or when the secondary serving cell group is added. The method may further include: receiving a secondary serving cell adding command from a base station. The present application also provides a corresponding user equipment.
Signal transmission power adjustment in a wireless device
Wireless communications are described. A wireless device may be configured to transmit a first signal via a first cell group that may overlap in time with a second signal via a second cell group. The wireless device may adjust a signal transmission power of at least one of the first signal or the second signal. Additionally or alternatively, the wireless device may drop at least one of the first signal or the second signal. Adjusting and/or dropping at least one of the first signal or the second signal may be based on the overlap in time of these signals satisfying a duration threshold and a total power to transmit the first signal and the second signal exceeding a power threshold.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, SERVER, AND TERMINAL DEVICE
A system includes: a server; and a terminal. The server manages a first connection state indicating a state of connection with the terminal based on whether the connection with the terminal is determined as established, and performs deallocation or reuse of a server-side resource allocated by the server, based on whether the first connection state is synchronized with a second connection state managed in the terminal. The terminal repeatedly checks a connection with the server using the connection path including the at least part in which the wireless communication is performed, and manages the second connection state indicating a state of the connection with the server, based on whether the connection with the server is determined as established. The terminal performs deallocation or reuse of a terminal-side resource allocated by the terminal, based on whether the second connection state is synchronized with the first connection state.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A communication apparatus determines whether the communication apparatus is to operate as a transmission apparatus for transmitting service data to be transferred by a service performed via a network, or operate as both the transmission apparatus for transmitting the service data to be transferred by the service performed via the network and a reception apparatus for receiving the service data to be transferred by the service performed via the network, terminates a connection with a communication partner apparatus in response to completion of transmission of the service data if the communication apparatus operates as the transmission apparatus, and terminates the connection with the communication partner apparatus in response to a user operation if the communication apparatus operates as both the transmission apparatus and the reception apparatus.

Secondary Cell Activation
A wireless device receives configuration parameters of cells grouped into physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell, and a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH. The wireless device receives, during a first time interval, a first indication to activate a secondary cell of the primary PUCCH group. The wireless device starts transmission of channel state information of the secondary cell from a second time interval that is pre-determined number of time intervals after the first time interval. The wireless device receives, during a third time interval, a second indication for activation of the PUCCH secondary cell, and starts transmission of channel state information for the PUCCH secondary cell from a fourth time interval that is a number of time intervals after the third time interval.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SETTING TIMER VALUE IN NETWORK
A method for setting a value of an inactivity timer for transitioning between states of a data session in a network comprising a first entity and a second entity providing network analytics is provided. The method includes obtaining, by the second entity, input data comprising communication description information for at least one user equipment (UE), and providing, by the second entity to the first entity, output analytics generated based on the input data, the output analytics comprising UE communications analytics for each data session where the output analytics are used to determining whether to update a value of an inactivity timer for a data session.
SHORT CYCLE CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A short cycle configuration method The method includes: for a plurality of discontinuous reception (DRX) groups of a user equipment, configuring, by a base station, a DRX short cycle parameter of the DRX group for a first frequency band and/or the DRX group for a second frequency band; where a frequency of the first frequency band is higher than a frequency of the second frequency band.
