In an embodiment of the present disclosure, data transmission conditions of each serving cell among at least two serving cells is detected by means of a terminal so that the terminal may, according to the data transmission conditions of each serving cell, execute random access on a serving cell experiencing wave beam failure so as to update a service beam of the serving cell. Thus, when the terminal experiences wave beam failure in a serving cell in a carrier aggregation (CA) scenario, reliable data transmission may be achieved, and the reliability of data transmission may be effectively ensured.

Use of threshold RAB-modification rate as basis to control configuration of dual connectivity
A method and system to help address excessive RAB-modification requests as may happen when a UE is connected with and served by a first access node and the first access node repeatedly configures and de-configures dual connectivity for the UE where the UE would be connected with and served concurrently by the first access node and a second access node, with each configuring and de-configuring including a RAB-modification request to transfer a RAB of the UE between being anchored at the first access node and being anchored at a second access node. A computing system could detect that the rate of such RAB-modification requests is at least predefined threshold high and could cause the requests to be discontinued, such as by causing the first access node to at least temporary stop sending such requests.
TECHNIQUES FOR SUBCARRIER TONE RESERVATION
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that tone reservation is to be applied to one or more subcarriers for one or more downlink communications. The UE may transmit one or more uplink signals, using the one or more subcarriers, for measurement by a base station. The UE may receive the one or more downlink communications having the tone reservation applied to the one or more subcarriers, the one or more subcarriers having tone reservation applied based at least in part on the measurement of the one or more uplink signals on the one or more subcarriers.
