METHODS, APPARATUS AND MACHINE-READABLE MEDIUMS RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF BROADCAST/MULTICAST BEARERS
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method performed by a broadcast/multicast server for a communication network. The method comprises: receiving, from an application server, a request to establish a broadcast/multicast bearer in the communication network; allocating resources associated with the broadcast/multicast bearer in the communication network; and sending, to the application server, a response message comprising an indication of whether the allocation of the resources associated with the broadcast/multicast bearer is ongoing or not. Corresponding apparatus, and methods and apparatus in the application server, are also provided.
Core node, base station, radio terminal, communication method, radio resource allocation method, base station selection method, and readable medium
The present disclosure aims to provide a core node capable of appropriately allocating a radio resource of a RAN Slice allocated for a specific service to a radio terminal that uses this specific service. A core node according to the present disclosure includes: a determination unit configured to determine a radio resource to be allocated in accordance with a service provided for a radio terminal; and a communication unit configured to transmit resource identification information indicating the radio resource determined in the determination unit to a base station that manages a plurality of radio resources for each RAN Slice associated with a service.

Address allocation method, apparatus, core network, node, network system and medium
Provided are an address allocation method and apparatus, a core network, a node, a network system and a medium. In at least one of the case of establishing a session, at least two uplink addresses are configured and send to an access network. The access network is a connectivity network formed by a coupling of at least two network element nodes. At least part of the at least two uplink addresses are used for being allocated among the network element nodes. The access network receives the at least two uplink addresses sent by the core network and allocates the at least two uplink addresses. The access network sends at least one downlink address to the core network and determines usage of the uplink addresses. The access network may determine a correspondence between the uplink address and the downlink address. The core network receives the downlink address.
Method and Apparatus for Supporting Event Monitoring
The present disclosure provides a method (400) for supporting event monitoring in a first apparatus, comprising: sending (S401) to a second apparatus a monitoring request message including a monitoring type parameter indicating a requested monitoring event to be monitored for one or a group of User Equipment UEs; and receiving (S402) from the second apparatus a first monitoring response message or a first monitoring indication message including a monitoring event report of the requested monitoring event of the one or group of UEs.
RETRIEVING A CORE NETWORK OR ACCESS NETWORK ASSIGNED USER EQUIPMENT IDENTIFIER
An apparatus for retrieving at least one of an access network or core network assigned user equipment identifier (NGAP ID) from outside of the access or core network using IP addressing information. The apparatus configured to receive IP addressing information of the user equipment; determine a subscriber permanent user identity for the user equipment from the IP addressing information; generate and transmit a request for the at least one of the access network or core network assigned user equipment identifier, the request including the subscriber permanent identity; and receive the at least one of the access network or core network assigned user equipment identifier.
Method and system of providing second generation (2G) voice services over Internet protocol
A system to provide second generation (2G) voice services over internet protocol, the system including: a voice gateway (VGW) including a 2G stack to communicate control plane information and user plane information with a 2G user terminal (UT) via a circuit-switched network without modifications to the 2G-UT, an Iu-CS IP stack, and a relay to map the control plane information between the 2G stack and the Iu-CS IP stack, and vice-versa; a mobile switching center (MSC), connected to the VGW via the Iu-CS IP stack, to manage and establish the voice services between the 2G-UT and a public switched telephone network (PSTN) based on the mapped control plane information; and a media gateway (MGW) connected to the VGW via the Iu-CS IP stack, where the MGW communicates the user plane information between the 2G-UT and the PSTN after the MSC 2-G UT vocoder, e.g. AMBE, has established voice services.
