The present disclosure relates to method and apparatus for backhaul status reporting in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a detecting configuration and a report configuration, the report configuration comprising a reporting destination informing at least one wireless device among a plurality of wireless devices connected to the wireless device via a first backhaul for the wireless device; detecting a status of a second backhaul for the wireless device based on the detecting configuration; and transmitting the status of the second backhaul based on the report configuration, to the at least one wireless device informed by the reporting destination.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BACKHAUL AND ACCESS LINK SCHEDULING IN INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL NETWORKS AND SYNCHRONIZED NETWORKS
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided in which a scheduling entity determines a first direction of a backhaul link traffic between a first scheduling entity and a second scheduling entity, and determines a second direction of an access link traffic between the scheduling entity and a user equipment (UE) based on the first direction of the backhaul link traffic to reduce potential interference caused by the access link traffic. The scheduling entity transmits or receives the access link traffic in the second direction utilizing at least one of a same transmission resource of the backhaul link traffic. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
NETWORK ACCESS METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides a network access method and an apparatus. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, by a second network device, access capability information from a first network device, where the first network device is a network device in a first-type network, the access capability information indicates a capability of the first network device to access a second-type network, and the first-type network is different from the second-type network, and using, by the second network device, the access capability information.
DATACENTER, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A datacenter, a communication apparatus, a communication method, and a communication control method in a communication system are provided that can enhance the versatility of a datacenter and a virtual network constructed therein. A communication system includes: a plurality of wireless communication facilities owned by a plurality of network operators, respectively; and a datacenter in which a virtual core network is constructed, wherein the virtual core network implements mobile communication functions by using the plurality of wireless communication facilities.
COMMISSIONING A CENTRAL CONTROLLER IN A CLOUD RADIO ACCESS NETWORK
A cloud radio access network (C-RAN) includes a plurality of remote units (RUs), each with a wireless transceiver to exchange RF signals with at least one UE. The C-RAN also includes a central controller communicatively coupled to the plurality of RUs via a fronthaul comprising one or more ETHERNET switches. The central controller is communicatively coupled to an activation server via a backhaul network. The central controller also includes at least one processor configured to, following initial power up, establish a connection to the activation server indicated by activation server information pre-configured on the central controller. The at least one processor is also configured to receive a commissioning package, which includes commissioning information, from the activation server. The at least one processor is also configured to configure the central controller based on the commissioning information.
Establishing a GTP session
Examples provided herein establish a GTP session between a base station and a gateway. A session establishing request is received in response to an attach request from a wireless terminal to the base station, and a gateway located within an edge site is selected based on the session establishing request. The session establishing request is edited to include information designating the gateway and transmitted to the gateway.
METHOD OF PROCESSING NETWORK SLICE AND ACCESS-NETWORK NODE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of processing a network slice and an access-network node, which relate to a communication field. The method of processing a network slice includes: receiving network-slice information, wherein the network-slice information includes at least one of following: network-slice available resource information; network-slice quality-of-service information; network-slice networking information; network-slice resource allocation information; network-slice access control information; network-slice report configuration/control information; network-slice user information; network-slice service information; network-slice resource-demand change information; network-slice resource occupation information; network-slice interference-coordination information; network-slice movement control parameter.
Forwarding Entry Generation Method, Controller, and Network Device
A forwarding entry generation method includes sending, by a controller, a plurality of resource allocation request messages to a plurality of network devices in a network slice, to trigger the plurality of network devices to allocate resources, where the resource allocation request message includes an identifier of the network slice and a resource that needs to be allocated by a corresponding network device to the network slice; receiving, by the controller, a plurality of resource allocation response messages including the identifier of the network slice and a segment identifier of a corresponding network device, and a resource allocated by each device belongs to the network slice; and generating, by the controller, a forwarding table corresponding to the network slice, where the forwarding table includes a forwarding entry for arriving at a network device in the network slice.
