APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING MBS SERVICE SESSION FOR MBS SERVICE PROVISION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a 5.sup.th Generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4.sup.th generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the disclosure, a method for operating an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) node in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving an N2 Multimedia Broadcast Service (MBS) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session setup request message for establishing an MBS session from a Session Management Function (SMF) node, transmitting the N2 MBS PDU session setup request message to a base station, receiving an N2 MBS PDU session setup response message from the base station, and transmitting the N2 MBS PDU session setup response message to the SMF node.
SCHEME FOR SELECTING SMF NODE
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for operating an access and mobility management function (AMF) node for selecting a session management function (SMF) node. The method may comprise the steps of receiving a first message including application function (AF) request information from an AF node; selecting or reselecting an SMF on the basis of the AF request information; and transmitting a second message including the AF request information to the selected or reselected SMF.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATING OVER OVERLAY NETWORKS
A method for communicating overlay networks according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes acquiring a first authentication information from a first authentication server by the first terminal, establishing a connection with a first relay node based on the first authentication information by the first terminal, acquiring a second authentication information from a second authentication server via the first relay node by the first terminal, and communicating with the second terminal by way of the first relay node using the second authentication information by the first terminal.
HARQ-ACK handling with multiple PUCCH in multi-TRP transmission in NR
The present disclosure relates to a user equipment, a network node and respective communication methods for a user equipment and a network node. A according to some embodiments, a user equipment comprises a transceiver which, in operation, receives data on a plurality of downlink shared channels, the data received on the plurality of downlink shared channels being respectively the same data, and circuitry which, in operation, decodes the data, generates an indicator which indicates whether or not the data has been successfully decoded using the plurality of downlink shared channels. The transceiver, in operation, transmits the indicator on at least one of a plurality of uplink control channels associated respectively with the plurality of downlink shared channels.
Reducing signaling for data over non-access stratum via an SGI interface
The embodiments herein relate to reducing signaling for DoNAS (Data over Non-Access Stratum) via SGi. In one embodiment, there proposes a method (400) in a mobility management node (203), comprising: establishing (S401) an S11-U connection between the mobility management node (203) and a gateway node (204); monitoring (S402) the frequency of data transferring request for a wireless device (201); and deciding (S404) whether or not to release the S11-U connection based on the frequency of data transferring request. With the embodiments herein, the signaling between the mobility management node and the gateway node can be significantly reduced, without introducing extra signaling or message to the existing network.
