COMBINATION MICROWAVE AND HOOD SYSTEM

A microwave hood system is provided. The microwave hood system includes a microwave oven enclosure defining a cooking cavity therein. A cooking component is positioned within the cooking cavity and configured to emit microwaves. The heating system defines a heating cavity therein, wherein the heating system is coupled to the microwave oven enclosure. A heating element is positioned in the heating cavity. The heating cavity reaches a temperature in a range from about 40 C. to about 80 C. when the heating element is in use. A broiler element is positioned within the heating cavity. The heating cavity reaches a temperature in a range from about hundred and 150 C. to about 300 C. when the broiler element is in use. A dual hood system is also coupled to the microwave hood system.

A cooking appliance includes a housing unit, a cooking chamber, a steam generation unit for supplying the cooking chamber with steam, a removable container unit associated with the steam generation unit. The removable container unit includes a container portion and a holding portion. The container portion and the holding portion together have a longitudinal extent that is a multiple of a width of the container portion. The container portion has a height that is a multiple of the width of the container portion. The container portion provides a capacity for water to be evaporated that is at least 1 liter.

When the above drawer-type microwave oven works, the high-temperature water vapor inside the cooking cavity is discharged into the flow directing assembly through the air outlet mesh, and is directed and discharged to the bottom of the first spacing region by the flow directing assembly, and then flows along a bottom of the cooking cavity, and is discharged to the outside of the cooker body through a front side air outlet hole.
