Light emitting diode activation control

A system and method may include receiving, at a first node of a circuit electrically coupled to a light emitting diode, a pulsed electrical signal that includes signal current pulses. The system and method may also include enabling discontinuous discharging of a capacitor electrically coupled to the first node during a particular time period between two particular signal current pulses of the pulsed electrical signal.

Automated system for lighting control

In some embodiments, a method includes receiving a signal indicating that a timeout timer associated with a space has been has crossed a threshold in a space. If a motion sensor is disposed within the space, the method includes sending a signal to a connector operatively coupled to a light source such that the connector reverts to a default state. If (1) a motion sensor is not disposed within the space and (2) a light sensor is disposed within the space, the method includes sending a signal to the connector such that the connector is controlled by the light sensor.

Range-adjustable wallbox controllers for electrical devices

A wallbox controller for controlling a parameter of an electrical device can include a selector circuit that controls a value of the parameter within a range of values. The wallbox controller can also include a first range limit setting interface coupled to the selector circuit, where the first range limit setting interface sets a first limit for the range of values.

Nano-gas light sources based on graphene for displays

A gas light source is disclosed where gas is contained within a graphene cylinder or graphene capsule. Electrodes extending into the graphene cylinder or capsule are stimulated by an electric voltage to emit light. Eight graphene cylinder light sources can be arranged into a seven-segment alpha-numeric display having a decimal point. Different gases produce different colors of light. Three gas light sources having different gases can be arranged into an RGB pixel. An array of RGB pixels can be formed into a display.

A power supply system to provide auxiliary power output comprising a first energy storage device, a first inverter coupled to the first energy storage device, a first transformer, a first diode and a capacitor. The first inverter includes a first switch and second switch in series. The first transformer transforms high voltage from the first energy storage device to the low voltage output from auxiliary power output terminal, and includes the primary winding and auxiliary winding. The primary winding is connected to the first energy storage device and the junction of the first and second switch, and the homonymous terminal of the secondary winding is connected to the auxiliary power output through the first diode, with the synonymous terminal connected to the earth. One end of the first capacitor is connected to the first diode cathode and the other end is connected to the earth.

Centralized controller interface, system, and method for configuring devices in a lighting control system

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for configuring a device of a lighting control system. The method begins by providing a configuration interface by a centralized controller of the lighting control system. Device configuration information is received via the configuration interface. A communication network of the lighting control system is then placed into a programming mode. A programming request received at the device is detected, and configuration data representing at least a portion of the received device configuration information is transmitted from the centralized controller to the device.

Light source apparatus and display apparatus

An embodiment of the disclosure provides a light source apparatus including a light-emitting module and a control unit. The light-emitting module is configured to provide a light. The control unit is configured to change proportion of a first sub-light and a second sub-light to form the light so that a circadian action factor (CAF) and a correlated color temperature (CCT) of the light varies along a CAF vs. CCT locus of the light different from a CAF vs. CCT locus of sunlight. A CAF vs. CCT coordinate of one of the first sub-light and the second sub-light is below the CAF vs. CCT locus of sunlight, and a CAF vs. CCT coordinate of the other one of the first sub-light and the second sub-light is above the CAF vs. CCT locus of sunlight. A display apparatus is also provided.
