TEMPERATURE MANIPULATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF
A temperature manipulating apparatus for providing heating to different components of a vehicle, which includes a base medium made of rigid or flexible materials, such as glass, ceramic, plastic sheet, a fabric sheet and a leather sheet. The temperature manipulating apparatus includes a plurality of heat generating elements which are connected to the plurality of electricity conducting electrodes. The temperature manipulating apparatus includes a plurality of electricity conducting electrodes which are disposed on the heat generating elements and the base medium. The temperature manipulating apparatus may be supplied electricity from an electric power source via a connecting module. The plurality of heat generating elements may be in form of one or more layers of electrically conductive elements disposed on the base medium. The heat generating elements may be arranged in various configurations with respect to the electricity conducting electrodes to maximize the heating effect and suit different shapes of different components to be applied with the temperature manipulating apparatus.
HEATING DEVICE
A heating device including a support and at least one heating element group on the support has at least one heating element on the support and two connection contacts for the heating element group. The two connection contacts are electrically disconnected from one another and make electrical contact with the single heating element or all of the heating elements of the heating element group for connection to a current supply or as a power connection. An effective width of all of the heating elements within a common heating element group is greater than an effective length of the single heating element or all of the heating elements of this common heating element group between the two connection contacts.
Heated vehicle steering wheel having multiple controlled heating zones
A vehicle steering wheel is provided that includes a rim having a core structure, a plurality of heaters surrounding at least a portion of the core structure to define a plurality of heating zones, at least one sensor for sensing location of a user's hand on the steering wheel, and a controller controlling the plurality of heaters to activate one or more of the heaters based on the sensed location of the hand.
TRANSPARENT PANE WITH AN ELECTRICAL HEATING LAYER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A transparent pane is described, having an electrical heating layer extending at least over part of the pane surface and divided into a main heating region and an additional heating region electrically insulated therefrom. The transparent pane has connection means, which can be electrically connected to a voltage source and which has at least a first collecting conductor and a second collecting conductor. The collecting conductors are each electrically connected to the heating layer in the main heating region in direct contact such that upon application of a supply voltage, a heating current flows across a heating field formed by the heating layer. The transparent pane has at least one electrical line heating element, which is arranged, at least in sections, in the additional heating region of the heating layer.
HEATER FOR AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICES AND AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A heater for aerosol generation devices and an aerosol generation device including the same are provided. The heater according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a first electroconductive pattern which is configured to perform a heating function and a second electroconductive pattern which is made of a material with a temperature coefficient of resistance higher than that of the first electroconductive pattern and is configured to perform a temperature measurement function for the heater. In this case, since a temperature of a heating surface of the heater may be accurately measured through the second electroconductive pattern, control precision for the heater may be improved.
Electric heater and cooking appliance having same
An electric heater includes a substrate; and a plane heating element disposed on one surface of the substrate. The plane heating element includes a pattern portion including a start point and an end point, which are located at an outermost side of the pattern portion, the pattern portion including a plurality of tracks having an arc shape, which are spaced apart from each other and are formed to have a length increasing from an innermost side to the outermost side of the pattern portion, and a plurality of bridges connecting the plurality of tracks in series. The plurality of bridges are formed on both sides of the pattern portion with respect to a reference line passing through a center of the pattern portion, and an innermost gap between the pair of bridges located at the innermost side of the pattern portion is narrower than an outermost gap between a pair of bridges located at the outermost side of the pattern portion.
Apparatus for heating smokable material
Disclosed is an article for use with an apparatus for heating smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material. The article includes a carrier having plural thermally-conductive portions, on which are locatable respective discrete quantities of smokable material. Between the portions of the carrier, the carrier is shaped to form a thermal barrier for inhibiting heat conduction from one or more of the portions of the carrier towards another of the portions of the carrier in use.
Heated vehicle steering wheel having multiple heaters with integrated sensors
A vehicle steering wheel is provided that includes a rim having a core structure, a plurality of heating zones surrounding at least a portion of the core structure, each heating zone having conductive circuitry to define a heater and a capacitive sensor for sensing location of a user's hand on the steering wheel, and a controller controlling the conductive circuitry in each heating zone to operate as the capacitive sensor to sense a presence of the user's hand in at least one heating zone and to switch to operate as the heater to heat the at least one heating zone when the hand is sensed in the at least one heating zone.
HEAT PIPE WITH PRINTED HEATER AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING
Described herein is a heater for space equipment that includes a heat pipe. The heater also includes a first layer applied to the heat pipe. The first layer may be made from an electrically non-conductive material. The heater additionally includes a resistance heater printed onto the first layer after the first layer is applied to the heat pipe. The heater includes a second layer adjacent the resistance heater. The resistance heater may be positioned between the first layer and the second layer, and the second layer may be made from an electrically non-conductive material.
