In some embodiments, a plasma source can comprise a plasma emitter comprising a first electrode and a second electrode, the first electrode and the second electrode defining an electrode gap. In some embodiments, the plasma source can further comprise an enclosure housing attached to a distal end of the plasma emitter, the enclosure housing can comprise a delivery device configured to introduce a metal conductor through an axial opening in the second electrode and into the electrode gap and a device housing attached to a proximal end of the plasma emitter, the device housing can comprise a high voltage transformer electrically coupled to a capacitor unit. In some embodiments, the capacitor unit electrically can be coupled to a contactor, and the contactor can be electrically coupled to the first electrode. Other embodiments of related methods and systems are also provided.

The supplied gas has a bubble shape, comes into contact with the reforming liquid stored in the storage tub, and is deodorized.

Jet control devices and methods

Examples of a jet control device are described. The jet control device can comprise a jet deflecting member that is configured to intercept and/or collide with a high speed jet emerging from a jet formation location. The interaction of the jet deflecting member and the jet can cause the high speed jet to be dispersed into a plurality of jets with a number of flow directions which may be sideways to an initial direction of the high speed jet. In one embodiment the deflecting member can include a liquid guide formed by injecting a fluid out of an outlet nozzle so that the liquid guide extends longitudinally away from the outlet nozzle. In another embodiment the deflecting member can include an array of solid pellets injected through an outlet in a direction of the emerging high speed jet and configured to collide with the emerging jet thereby deflecting its initial direction.

A free radical generator includes a discharge electrode assembly with discharge electrode pins in a radial pattern and electrically configured to receive one or more voltage pulses. A liquid or solid counter electrode has a surface separated from the pins by a discharge gap. A motive element rotates the electrode assembly such that the array of pins rotates about an axis and the pins move relative to the counter electrode. A liquid treatment system may include a free radical generator and introduce free radicals into the liquid. A gas treatment system may include the free radical generator, a gas flow generating element to. a column for the flow of gas. and a liquid introduction element operable to introduce a liquid from a liquid bath into the interior space of the column such that the flow of gas is exposed to the liquid. A reformed liquid is produced in a manner that the plasma is generated in the gas phase so as to form a reformed component, and the formed reformed component is dissolved and dispersed in the liquid.

A system and method for evaluating a bond is provided. The system uses an adjustable submerged plasma probe to generate a compression wave in a first vessel containing a liquid. The system further includes a second vessel in which a vacuum is pulled to hold the first vessel against a bonded structure being inspected. The compression wave is directed to propagate from the liquid into the bonded structure to apply a known force to the bond being inspected. The adjustable submerged plasma probe allows the intensity of the compression wave to be increased or decreased at the bonded structure.
