Composite and nanowire conduit
An electrical wiring system comprises a plurality of electrical conduits, each of which comprises a plurality of electrically conductive wires, a carrier encapsulating and electrically insulating the wires from each other, the carrier being composed of a rigid material, and at least connector carried by the carrier in electrical communication with the wires. The electrical wiring system further comprises a junction box comprising a plurality of interconnecting wires and a plurality of connectors electrically coupled together by the interconnecting wires. The plurality of connectors of the junction box are coupled to the plurality connectors of the electrical conduits.
CIRCUIT BOARD
A circuit board is disclosed that includes a plurality of circuit board layers located one on top of the other. The plurality of circuit board layers includes a topmost circuit board layer and a bottommost circuit board layer, wherein the topmost circuit board layer forms a top of the circuit board, wherein the bottommost circuit board layer forms a bottom of the circuit board, and wherein the plurality of circuit board layers together forms an end circuit-board edge that runs perpendicularly to the top and the bottom of the circuit board. The end circuit-board edge is provided with a coating made of an insulating material.

An internal multi-function rearview device for use with a vehicle includes a rearview element comprising at least one of a reflective element, a camera, or a display element; a housing configured to be attached to the vehicle and configured to be moveable relative to the vehicle; a bezel configured to be affixed to an opening defined by the housing and configured to surround the rearview element; and a foot configured to be fixed to the vehicle and relative to which the housing and bezel is moveable. The bezel is coated and a coating of the bezel is at least one of a decorative coating, an advanced surface technology, or a spectrally controlling system, and the rearview element is coupled to at least one of the bezel or the housing.
Fabrication of intra-structure conductive traces and interconnects for three-dimensional manufactured structures
A method for forming a three-dimensional object with at least one conductive trace comprises providing an intermediate structure that is generated (e.g., additively or subtractively generated) from a first material in accordance with a model design of the three-dimensional object. The intermediate structure may have at least one predefined location for the at least one conductive trace. The model design includes the at least one predefined location. Next, the at least one conductive trace may be generated adjacent to the at least one predefined location of the intermediate structure. The at least one conductive trace may be formed of a second material that has an electrical and/or thermal conductivity that is greater than the first material.
Method for manufacturing an electric product
A method for preventing a molded body made of low melting point resin from being thermally damaged when external connection terminals provided on the molded body and external connection terminals provided on a flexible sheet are joined together via soldering. The method includes arranging the connection terminal of the molded body and the connection terminal of the flexible sheet such that the connection terminals face each other, and an electromagnetic induction heating performing electromagnetic induction heating after the arranging.

An external rearview device for a vehicle includes a rearview element comprising at least one of a reflective element, a camera, or a display element; a housing configured to be attached to the vehicle and configured to be moveable relative to the vehicle; and a bezel affixed to an opening defined by the housing and surrounding the rearview element. The bezel is coated and a coating of the bezel is at least one of a decorative coating, an advanced surface technology, or a spectrally controlling system, and the rearview element is coupled to at least one of the bezel or the housing.
PLASTIC COMPONENT WITH AT LEAST ONE ELECTRICAL CONTACT ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A plastic component with at least one electrical contact element has a plastic body and at least one electrical strip conductor, by which the electrical contact element can be electrically connected. Provisions are made for the plastic component to be manufactured by a combined injection molding and metal casting method, in which the plastic body is manufactured by an injection molding method and the at least one electrical strip conductor is manufactured by a metal casting or metal injection molding method one after another. The component formed last is molded onto the component formed first. Further, a method for manufacturing a corresponding plastic component is described.
PRINTING OF 3D STRUCTURES BY LASER-INDUCED FORWARD TRANSFER
A method for material deposition includes providing a transparent donor substrate (34) having opposing first and second surfaces and a donor film (36) including a metal formed over the second surface. The donor substrate is positioned in proximity to an acceptor substrate (22), with the second surface facing toward the acceptor substrate, in an atmosphere containing oxygen. Pulses of laser radiation are directed to pass through the first surface of the donor substrate and impinge on the donor film so as to induce ejection from the donor film of droplets (44) of molten material onto the acceptor substrate, forming on the acceptor substrate particles (46) of the metal with an outer layer (54) comprising an oxide of the metal.
Aluminum/ceramic bonding substrate and method for producing same
There is provided an aluminum/ceramic bonding substrate having a ceramic substrate, an aluminum plate of an aluminum alloy which is bonded directly to one side of the ceramic substrate, an aluminum base plate of the aluminum alloy which is bonded directly to the other side of the ceramic substrate, and a plate-shaped reinforcing member which has a higher strength than that of the aluminum base plate and which is arranged in the aluminum base plate to be bonded directly to the aluminum base plate, wherein the aluminum alloy contains 0.01 to 0.2% by weight of magnesium, 0.01 to 0.1% by weight of silicon, and the balance being aluminum and unavoidable impurities.
