RESIN MOLDED BODY
A resin molded body includes a connector unit having a side wall and an inner wall, both of which define a fitting chamber to which a mating connector is fitted and having a terminal penetrating through the inner wall and extending in a fitting direction, a substrate accommodating unit accommodating a circuit substrate to which the terminal is connected, and a device accommodating unit accommodating a device connected to the circuit substrate. The resin molded body is an integral molded product made of resin. A connecting portion has a plate shape extending outwards from the inner wall of the connector unit, and a second thickness thinner than a first thickness of the inner wall. The connecting portion is linked to the device accommodating unit.
SECURING A PCB IN A PLASTIC AND METAL HOUSING
Described herein is a system and method for securing a printed circuit board without the use of screws in a housing assembly comprising a bottom housing made of plastic and a top housing made of metal. The top housing comprises a plurality of ribs. The bottom housing comprises a plurality of flexible snap arms each having a head portion, which includes an angled lower face, a horizontal crush rib, and a vertical crush rib. Upon coupling of the assembly, the ribs exert a horizontal force on the flexible snap arms resulting in climbing of the angled lower face further onto the printed circuit board. The horizontal force may also crush the horizontal crush ribs allowing for increased flexibility between the components to adjust for interference, preventing potential damage to the printed circuit board. Vertical forces may also crush the vertical crush ribs allowing for increased flexibility between the components.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
According to an embodiment, an electronic device includes a first printed circuit board and a second printed circuit board, facing the first printed circuit board, disposed over the first printed circuit board. The electronic device includes a first support member disposed on a first surface of the first printed circuit board. The electronic device includes a second support member, disposed on a second surface of the second printed circuit board, facing the first printed circuit board and configured to come into contact with the first support member by an external force applied to the electronic device. The electronic device includes an interposer between the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board, surrounding an area between the first surface and the second surface.

A sensor for outputting an electrical signal on the basis of a detected physical variable, including: a measuring circuit accommodated in a circuit housing and capable of contacting an external circuit by an electric signal connection; and a protective body consisting of a protective compound with an opening, the compound surrounding the circuit housing and the opening exposing part of the circuit housing. The surface of the circuit housing has a moulded element which is surrounded by the protective compound.
Electronic assembly and method of manufacture same
An electronic assembly comprises a housing, a cover for the housing, a printed circuit board receivable in the housing, and a compliant pin header assembly. The compliant pin header assembly is mountable in the housing by inter-engaging features on the header assembly and the housing. The compliant pin header assembly has compliant pins for engaging corresponding features on the printed circuit board to connect the compliant pin header assembly electrically to the printed circuit board. The cover, when the electronic assembly is assembled, engages the housing and also engages the printed circuit board at a location spaced from an outer periphery of the printed circuit board.
HOUSING FOR A CIRCUIT BOARD AND ELECTRIC CIRCUIT ARRANGEMENT
A housing and a circuit arrangement includes a housing body that features an electrically conductive housing base element and a housing wall element. The housing body is coated with an electrically insulating cladding layer. The housing includes a fastening device that has an electrically conductive contacting unit and a mechanical attaching unit. The electrically conductive contacting unit, in the intended installation position, is directly electrically contacted with the housing body at the electrical contacting point, extends into the circuit board compartment and is also arranged so as to be electrically conductively contacted in the circuit board compartment with a corresponding contacting unit of the circuit board. The mechanical attaching unit is arranged to be mechanically connected in the circuit board compartment to a corresponding attaching unit of the circuit board in order to mechanically affix the circuit board in the circuit board compartment.
HAND HELD APPLIANCE
A hair care appliance including a body having an outer wall and an inner wall, a fluid flow path extending from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet wherein the fluid outlet is at least partially defined by the inner wall, a heater for heating fluid in the fluid flow path and, a thermistor for measuring the temperature of fluid between the heater and the fluid outlet, wherein the thermistor is retained with respect to a housing and the housing forms part of the inner wall. The housing may comprise a base that engages with the inner wall. The housing may further comprise an arm wherein the arm supports the thermistor and extends radially inwards of the inner wall. The housing may comprise two arms and the thermistor is suspended between the two arms. The inner wall may comprise an aperture into which the housing is inserted.
Electronic device and method for producing an electronic device
An electronic device including: an electronic unit accommodated in a circuit housing and a molded body which surrounds the circuit housing. The molding compound has a cut-out that exposes the circuit housing, in which cut-out an identification that characterizes the electronic circuit is arranged.
Vehicle-mounted antenna device
A vehicle-mounted antenna device includes a base, a board, a circuit section, and a housing. The base is mountable on a roof of a vehicle. The board has an antenna element section and is stood on a surface of the base. The circuit section serves as at least part of a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the antenna element section. The housing is made of a resin material and forms a projection of a vehicle outer shape. The board and the circuit section are located in space formed by the base and the housing. The board is stood on the surface of the base so that a first direction perpendicular to the surface of the base differs from a second direction equal to a thickness direction of the board. The circuit section implemented on the board at a position away from the base in the first direction.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
An electronic control unit includes a base substrate, an electronic device, and a positioning member. The base substrate has a first connector. The electronic device is mounted on the base substrate substantially orthogonal to the base substrate. The electronic device includes a wiring board and a second connector disposed on the wiring board to be electrically connected to the first connector. The positioning member is disposed between the base substrate and the electronic device and positions the first connector and the second connector relative to each other. The positioning member includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The first protrusion is inserted into a first positioning hole of the base substrate to position the positioning member with respect to the base substrate. The second protrusion is inserted into a second positioning hole of the wiring board to position the positioning member with respect to the wiring board.
