Substrate holding structure, electronic component module, and electrical connection box
A substrate holding structure includes holding units and protrusions. The holding units are provided to a casing that includes an accommodating unit accommodating therein an inserted substrate, and hold an end part of the substrate accommodated in the accommodating unit on the insertion direction-entrance side of the substrate. The protrusions protrude from side wall surfaces that are wall surfaces of the casing along the insertion direction of the substrate, the wall surfaces being opposed to the side surfaces of the substrate, and are plastically deformed due to contact with the substrate to be inserted into the accommodating unit.

A printed board joining method according to an embodiment includes preparing a printed board having, on an upper surface, a plurality of connection land portions provided along a side end, preparing a printed board having, on a lower surface, a plurality of connection land portions along a side end, and joining the printed board and the printed board together with a conductive joining material such that the upper surface is opposed to the lower surface and the plurality of connection land portions are electrically connected to the corresponding connection land portions. One or more cutout portions are provided between the plurality of connection land portions and/or between the plurality of connection land portions.
TOUCH-CONTROLLING DEVICE, FUNCTIONAL EXPANSION MEMBER THEREOF, AND USB SOCKET CONNECTOR
A USB socket connector includes a columnar housing, a circuit board, and an expansion board. The columnar housing has a front portion and an opposite rear portion. The columnar housing includes an accommodating slot recessed from the front portion toward the rear portion and a receiving slot recessed on the rear portion and in air communication with the accommodating slot. A cross section of the receiving slot is larger than that of the accommodating slot. The circuit board includes a tongue plate portion arranged on one side thereof and having a USB3.1 Type-C interface. The circuit board is inserted into the accommodating slot, and the tongue plate portion is arranged in the front portion. The expansion board is substantially and perpendicularly connected to an end of the circuit board away from the tongue plate portion, and the expansion board is arranged in the receiving slot.
Waterproof component-suppressing electronic control device
An electronic control device is provided with a resin base, a substrate, and a resin cover. The resin base has at least one opening part. The resin cover formed in a cylindrical shape with a bottom is fixed on an inner surface of the resin base forming the opening part. The resin cover has a slit. The substrate has a card edge connector to be inserted into the slit. An electronic component is mounted on the substrate.
Heat dissipation device for an electronic device
An electronic device for a vehicle includes a metal tubular casing extending longitudinally and opening at its two ends, and a wall having a curved profile with cooling fins on its outer surface. The electronic device includes an assembly of printed circuit boards comprising a first plurality of printed circuit boards that include heat-generating electronic components. The printed circuit boards of the assembly are connected together by flexible conductive elements. The device further comprises a first heat sink arranged inside the tubular casing comprising a curved wall generally extending parallel to the curved wall of the tubular casing. The first plurality of printed circuit boards is interposed between the curved inner surface of the wall of the casing and the curved wall of the first heat sink so heat is dissipated through the first heat sink and through the curved wall equipped with cooling fins of the tubular casing.
Flexible printed circuit boards and related methods
Flexible printed circuit boards and related methods are disclosed herein. An example printed circuit board includes a controller interface coupled to a surface of the printed circuit board between a first end of the printed circuit board and a second end of the printed circuit board. The example printed circuit board includes a connector coupled to the surface proximate to the first end. The example printed circuit board includes a notch formed between the controller interface and the connector. The notch is to form a narrowed portion of the printed circuit board to enable the printed circuit board to bend at the narrowed portion.

An electronic component unit to be applied to an electric connection box for a wire harness includes: a substrate that has an electronic component mounted thereon and includes a terminal electrically connected to the electronic component; a casing including: a housing space portion for housing the substrate therein; and a plurality of slide assembling units that are provided in the housing space portion and each of which allows the substrate to be inserted and assembled therethrough; and a connection unit that is provided in an opening in the casing, into which the terminal of the substrate is inserted, and the connection unit is configured to electrically connect the terminal to a conductive wiring member. At least one substrate is assembled to any one of the slide assembling units and is retained between the casing and the connection unit.

An electronic unit includes: a case; a circuit board; and a cover, wherein a portion of a connector, which is provided on the circuit board, to be connected to a mating connector is exposed to the outside through a through hole of the cover, a first clearance portion and a second clearance portion are provided in at least one of a portion located between the cover and the case at a position of the opening and a portion located between the cover and the connector at a position of the through hole, a clearance in the first clearance portion is larger than a clearance in the second clearance portion, the second clearance portion is located on an inner side of the case relative to the first clearance portion, and the first clearance portion extends and reaches the second clearance portion while maintaining a constant clearance.
SENSOR HOUSING FOR A RADAR SENSOR AND RADAR SENSOR
A sensor housing for a radar sensor for a vehicle comprising a housing and a printed circuit board. The housing has a venting duct for the venting of the sensor housing, as well as a press-fit guide for the reception of a positioning aid for the printed circuit board. The venting duct and the press-fit guide form a common duct.
Controller-enclosure assembly
In an aspect, an enclosure member for a circuit board includes first, second, third, fourth and fifth walls that define an interior. The first and second walls face each other. The third and fourth walls face each other. The fifth wall faces an opening. The first and second support members face the second wall. The second support member is spaced longitudinally from the first support member. The first and second walls are spaced apart by a distance that increases towards the opening. Any surfaces in the interior that at least partially face the second wall have a distance from the second wall that does not decrease towards the opening. The interior is free of surfaces that face the fifth wall and are perpendicular to the second wall thereby preventing die lock during molding, while providing the enclosure member with first and second support members that are spaced longitudinally.
