Sensor
A sensor includes a sensor element, a package accommodating the sensor element in an inside of the package, a grounding electrode disposed in the package, a lid covering an opening of the package, and a lead extending from the package. The lead includes first and second portions. The first portion of the lead is electrically connected to the grounding electrode and extends along a side surface of the package with a gap provided between the first portion and the side surface. The second portion of the lead is disposed between the lid and the package and extends toward the inside of the package. In this sensor, the opening can be sealed without soldering and reliably connect the lid to the grounding electrode.
Rotatable sensor cover
An assembly for a vehicle includes: a top housing rotatable about a bottom housing via a hinge; a sensor positioned between the top and bottom housings; the top and bottom housings each including a triangular portion that narrows into a rectangular extension portion; the bottom housing including raised bosses defining bolt apertures; the housings including outward indentations and corresponding inward indentations.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING FIXED CONDUCTIVE PLATES AND ELASTIC CONDUCTIVE PLATES
Fixed conductive plates are buried in a case. In its internal space, a first contact surface, which is part of each fixed conductive plate, and a second contact surface, which is an inner surface of the case, are opposite to each other, and an elastic conductive plate is interposed in this opposing portion. The elastic conductive plate is structured so that, in a restricting portion, a support piece portion is fitted to the thin plate portion of the fixed conductive plate and that an elastic arm portion extends from the support piece portion.
The support piece portion of the elastic conductive plate, is constrained from above by a restricting support portion and from below by a restricting opposing portion at a position close to a boundary portion with an elastic arm portion.
Sensor cover
An assembly includes: (a) a sensor including a bolt connector, an anti-rotator configured to snap-fit into a recess, and rails; (b) a cover including a plurality of slots configured to receive the rails and being sized to leave a portion of the bolt connector laterally exposed when finally positioned on the sensor.
SENSOR UNIT AND STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING
A sensor unit includes a physical quantity sensor, a connecter to be coupled to the outside, a board on which the physical quantity sensor and the connecter are installed, and a container accommodating the board. The board is provided with a first region in which the connecter is installed, a second region in which the physical quantity sensor is installed, and a coupling region disposed between the first and second regions and having a sectional area S3 that is smaller than a sectional area S1 of the first region and a sectional area S2 of the second region in a sectional view as seen in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the first region and the second region are arranged, and a region in the second region of the board on the coupling region side is attached to the container via a fixation member.
RIGID ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO STRAIN SENSITIVE SENSING COMPONENT
An apparatus includes a sensor package, a housing, and one or more stitched terminals. The housing comprises a first cavity configured to receive the sensor package, a second cavity configured to receive an electrical connector, and a wall separating the cavities. The first cavity has a support surface located between a sensor receiving opening and the wall. The one or more stitched terminals are generally stitched into the wall, each having a sensor contact end extending into the first cavity and a connector contact end extending into the second cavity. At least one of the sensor package and the stitched terminals is positionable to align electrical contact pads of the sensor package with the sensor contact ends of the stitched terminals. The sensor package, when positioned between the support surface and the sensor contact ends of the stitched terminals, is essentially uncompressed.
PASSENGER PROTECTION CONTROL DEVICE
A passenger protection control device for effectively preventing an infiltration of water into the interior of a case without the use of a sealant includes: a printed circuit board; a connector; and a case that accommodates such that, while a connection end surface with a wire harness of the connector is exposed, the printed circuit board is isolated from the outside. The case is formed by: a box shaped cover in which the periphery of a ceiling wall is enclosed by side walls and a floor surface is opened; and a rear cover that plugs the floor surface of the cover. The connector is installed in an opening provided in the side wall of the cover. The rear cover has a first standing wall projecting so as to face a connector in the portion of the cover in which the connector is installed. The first standing wall of the rear cover has a planar region in a head top part. The planar region has an inclined surface having a falling gradient facing outwardly from the cover.
Air bag control unit
The present invention relates to an airbag control unit including a housing that forms an enclosure and has an opening at an end thereof; a PCB that is coupled to the housing by coupling to a corner portion in the opening and an electrical connection structure in which a terminal pin is inserted into a terminal pin hole; and a cover provided in a shape covering the opening and includes an edge joined and fixed along an edge of the opening.
Control device
A control device to be mounted on a vehicle, includes: a board; a control circuit which is provided on the board and is configured to execute a control in a case of a collision of the vehicle; a case in which the board is accommodated; and a bracket that extends from a side surface of the case and is to be fixed to the vehicle with a fastening member, and the bracket includes: a groove portion that extends in an intersection direction intersecting an extending direction of the bracket from the case; and a protrusion that closes a part of the groove portion.
