A cam-based, force-controlled system for seal activation includes a plurality of sealing segment assemblies. Each sealing segment assemblies includes an inner segment and an outer segment assembly configured to mate with the inner segment. The inner segment includes an upper segment portion, a lower segment portion, and an inner segment seal disposed between the upper segment portion and the lower segment portion. The outer segment assembly includes an upper segment element, and outer perimeter element, an outer segment seal disposed between the upper segment element and the outer perimeter seal, a rod coupled to the upper segment element, a first cam coupled to the upper segment element, a second cam coupled to the upper segment element, and a handle coupled to the rod, the first cam, and the second cam.

In order to improve a housing, in particular for an electrotechnical apparatus, comprising at least two housing parts which each have a connecting face, said connecting faces, in a closed state of the housing, facing one another along a connecting section, it is proposed that at least one of the at least two housing parts, along the connecting section, has at least one integrated protective section, in particular for EMC shielding and/or for mechanical protection.
HOUSING COVER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOUSING COVER
To create a housing cover for fixing to a housing, wherein the housing cover is provided with a plurality of fastening means through openings and with a sealing bead that comprises an elastomeric material, and wherein the sealing bead is arranged on a seal support face of the housing cover, in which housing cover the course of the sealing bead can be more freely designed and, in particular, laid closer to the fastening means through-openings of the housing cover and which, in particular, is producible from a sheet-shaped starting material, it is proposed that the housing cover comprises at least one deformation limiting element, which projects over the seal support face in the same direction as the sealing bead and limits a deformation of the sealing bead in the assembled state of the housing cover, wherein the deformation limiting element comprises at least one fastening means through-opening portion that extends along a circumferential direction of one of the fastening means through-openings over a circumferential angle α around the respective fastening means through-opening, and wherein the fastening means through-opening portion of the deformation limiting element comprises a plurality of partial element that are spaced at a distance from one another along the circumferential direction of the fastening means through-opening.

A household appliance includes a housing having an accommodating cavity. The accommodating cavity has an installation opening. An electrical appliance is adapted to enter the accommodating cavity through the installation opening. A cover is configured to seal the accommodating cavity. The housing has a disassembling hole adapted to receive an insertion of a tool configured to disassemble the cover from the housing. The disassembling hole is in communication with the accommodating cavity and an entrance of the disassembling hole is located outside the installation opening.

wherein the deformation limiting element comprises a bending region in which the material of the deformation limiting element is bent out of a reference plane extending substantially in parallel to the seal support face by a bend angle of at least 30°.
Electronic Device with Sealed Housing
An improved ECU for a motor vehicle comprises a housing that includes a top portion and a bottom portion each with an associated gasket. A printed circuit board (PCB) is enclosed between the housing portions. The gaskets provide seals between the housing, portions and respective sides of the PCB and apply balanced forces to each side to minimize strain on the PCB. One or both gaskets may be electromagnetic compliance gaskets.

A connection component including: a main body to be attached to a case; and an annular ring that is elastic and into which the main body is inserted, wherein the annular ring deforms between a first thickness at which the annular ring is in contact with the main body and is not in contact with the case when a compressive force that acts in an insertion direction into the case does not occur, and a second thickness at which the annular ring is in contact with both the main body and the case when the compressive force that acts in the insertion direction into the case occurs.
Electrical connection box
An electrical connection box is provided with a connector-attached board and a shield case that internally houses the connector-attached board. The connector-attached board is provided with a circuit board, a connector that is fixed to the circuit board and that engages with a mating connector, and an attachment that is attached to the connector. The shield case surrounds the circuit board and is provided with an upper short wall portion and a lower short wall portion that include a connector opening for facing the connector outside. The attachment is provided with a waterproof portion that covers the periphery of an engagement surface of the connector that faces the mating connector, and the waterproof portion is provided with a waterproof wall that covers the periphery of the connector and the mating connector.
SYSTEMS FOR COOLING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS IN AN OUTDOOR COMPUTING SYSTEM
A computing device comprises a heat sink including a base and a multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device disposed adjacent to the base. A thermally-conductive grease layer is disposed between and in direct contact with the multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device and the base. A gasket contains the thermally-conductive grease layer between the multi-dimensional thermal dissipation device and the base.
DIRECT CONTACT FLUID BASED COOLING MODULE
A fluid delivery module that produces direct fluid-contact cooling of a computer processor, while mating with common processor accessory mounting specifications. Computer processors are commonly packaged and installed on printed circuit boards. The fluid module delivers cooling fluid directly to at least a surface of the processor package. The fluid module forms a fluid-tight seal against the surface of the processor package. By delivering fluid to the surface of the processor package, the module cools the computer processor. The module does not mechanically fasten to the processor. Instead, the module fastens to a variety of processor accessory mounting patterns commonly found on printed circuit boards. The printed circuit board typically carries the processor. This minimizes stress on the processor package, and allows greater modularity between different processors. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery is done with integral microjets, producing very high heat transfer cooling of the computer processor.
