ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device includes: a transparent front surface plate defining at least a portion of a front surface of the electronic device, and including a first edge and a second edge disposed on opposite sides, a third edge connecting one end of the first edge and one end of the second edge, and a fourth edge connecting another end of the first edge and another end of the second edge and disposed opposite the third edge; a rear surface plate defining at least a portion of a rear surface of the electronic device; a side housing surrounding at least a portion of a space between the front surface plate and the rear surface plate; a support disposed in the space and connected with the side housing or integrally formed with the side housing; a display disposed in the space and viewable through at least a portion of the front surface plate; a second flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) disposed to at least partially overlap the display when viewed above the front surface plate; a first FPCB connecting the display and the second FPCB, and disposed in a folded state within a specified proximity of the fourth edge and having a portion overlapping the display when viewed above the front surface plate; a first seal disposed between the first FPCB and the support, or between the second FPCB and the support, and extending from a first end to a second end along the fourth edge; a second seal disposed between the display and the support, and extending from a third end proximate the first end to a fourth end proximate the second end along the first edge, the third edge, and the second edge; and a third seal disposed between the first end of the first seal and the third end of the second seal, and between the second end of the first seal and the fourth end of the second seal, and connecting the first seal and the second seal.
Electrically isolated heat dissipating junction box
A junction box used for making electrical connections to a photovoltaic panel. The junction box has two chambers including a first chamber and a second chamber and a wall common to and separating both chambers. The wall may be adapted to have an electrical connection therethrough. The two lids are adapted to seal respectively the two chambers. The two lids are on opposite sides of the junction box relative to the photovoltaic panel. The two lids may be attachable using different sealing processes to a different level of hermeticity. The first chamber may be adapted to receive a circuit board for electrical power conversion. The junction box may include supports for mounting a printed circuit board in the first chamber. The second chamber is configured for electrical connection to the photovoltaic panel. A metal heat sink may be bonded inside the first chamber.
Case of electric apparatus and manufacturing method therefor
There is provided a case of an electric apparatus and the manufacturing method therefor in which a sealing material, the portion of which at the depth is cured without being heated, is utilized at the junction portion of two or more case members. The case of the electric apparatus has a gap forming portion that form a gap in a junction portion where two or more case members for containing an electric apparatus are joined to each other and a sealing material filled into the gap between the gap forming portion; the sealing material is a two-liquid-mixed addition-reaction-curable sealing material that has a normal-temperature curability and includes a platinum catalyst.
METHODS OF FABRICATING VACUUM HOUSINGS WITH HERMETIC SOLDER SEALS USING CAPILLARY SOLDER WICKS
Hermetically sealed electronic devices and methods for fabricating the hermetically sealed electronic devices are provided. The devices include a solder sealed vacuum housing. The solder seal is formed using a solder wick having an external solder reservoir. When the reservoir is filled with molten solder, the solder is drawn via capillary action into a precisely defined narrow gap between two components of the housing where it forms an airtight and vacuum-tight seal.

Bonded electronic control unit
An apparatus includes a housing, a circuit board, a sealant and a baseplate. The housing may have a shelf and a flange along an open side. The circuit board may be (i) disposed on the shelf of the housing and inside the flange of the housing and (ii) secured to the housing. The sealant may be dispensed (i) through the open side of the housing and (ii) along a gap between the flange and the circuit board. The baseplate may be compressed to the housing thereby causing the sealant to flow between (i) the baseplate and the circuit board and (ii) the baseplate and the flange.
CONNECTOR ELEMENT FOR AN ELECTRONIC COMPONENT, ELECTRONIC COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING AN ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A connector element for an electronic component includes a connecting region for connecting a circuit board to the connector element and a connector for connecting the connector element to another component. The connector element includes a sealing area intended to be brought in contact with a corresponding mating area of a housing. The sealing area has a narrow groove intended to be filled with a sealing material in a dispensing process. The narrow groove includes a dispensing starting region and the dispensing starting region has a width larger than the width of the narrow groove and a conically shaped side wall, in which the tip of the conus points towards the depth of the narrow groove. An electronic component and a method for assembling the electronic component are also provided.
Cable Bushing
A cable bushing is disclosed for placement into a control housing surrounding a printed circuit board. The cable bushing includes a bushing housing comprising a locating surface, fastening means for fastening the bushing housing to the control housing, and retainers for at least two cables which are to be electrically connected to the printed circuit board. To facilitate the assembly of the cable bushing, the cable bushing housing is provided with contact elements that protrude from its front face, that are embodied to be adapted for plug contacting the printed circuit board, and that are electrically connected to the associated cables within the bushing housing. Also disclosed is the combination of a control housing and cable bushing and a printed circuit board housed in the control housing.
BONDED ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
An apparatus includes a housing, a circuit board, a sealant and a baseplate. The housing may have a shelf and a flange along an open side. The circuit board may be (i) disposed on the shelf of the housing and inside the flange of the housing and (ii) secured to the housing. The sealant may be dispensed (i) through the open side of the housing and (ii) along a gap between the flange and the circuit board. The baseplate may be compressed to the housing thereby causing the sealant to flow between (i) the baseplate and the circuit board and (ii) the baseplate and the flange.
