Electronic device housing, method for manufacturing electronic device housing, development plan-shaped metal resin joint plate, and electronic apparatus
An electronic device housing of the present invention is a housing for internally accommodating an electronic device and is provided with a metal bottom plate, and metal side plates folded and integrally connected to the bottom plate, in which, in a metal member (M) formed of at least the bottom plate and the side plate, a thermoplastic resin member is joined to a portion of the surface of the plate-shaped metal member (M), the metal member (M) is reinforced by a thermoplastic resin member, and the thermoplastic resin member is joined to both surfaces of the plate-shaped metal member (M).
Thermal Management and/or EMI Mitigation Materials Including Coated Fillers
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of thermal management and/or electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation materials including coated fillers (e.g., coated thermally-conductive, electrically-conductive, dielectric absorbing, and/or electromagnetic wave absorbing particles, sand particles coated with a binder, other coated functional fillers, combinations thereof, etc.). For example, a thermal management and/or EMI mitigation material may comprise a thermal interface material (TIM) including one or more coated fillers (e.g., coated thermally-conductive particles, sand particles coated with a binder, etc.), whereby the TIM is suitable for providing a thermal management solution for one or more batteries and/or battery packs (e.g., a battery pack for electric vehicle, etc.), or other device(s), etc.
Solar/heat shield for pedestal housings used with active electronic devices and/or heat sensitive components
A pedestal housing for heat reduction generated by electronic components within the pedestal housing having a cover in which the electronic components are located, a cap positioned on an upper surface of the cover for forming an attic above the cover, a support layer and an insulation layer positioned between the cover and the cap in the attic and a heat and solar barrier layer positioned within the attic for electromagnetic radiation reflection away from the electronic components and electromagnetic radiation absorption from a radiation source and the electronic components.
ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING ELEMENT, AND TRANSMISSION LINE ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE PACKAGE USING THE SAME
An electromagnetic shielding element and, transmission line assembly and electronic structure package using the same are provided. The electromagnetic shielding element is applied to the transmission line assembly and the electronic structure package to shield electromagnetic noise. The electromagnetic shielding element includes a quantum well structure, and the quantum well structure includes at least two barrier layers and at least one carrier confined layer located between the two barrier layers. Each barrier layer has a thickness between 0.1 nm and 500 nm, and the thickness of the carrier confined layer is between 0.1 nm and 500 nm. The electromagnetic shielding element absorbs electromagnetic wave noise to suppress electromagnetic interference.
Method for Producing a Component, in Particular for a Motor Vehicle, and Component
A method for producing a component includes incorporating a molding compound into a tool for producing the component, where the molding compound includes an artificial resin as a matrix and a filler material embedded in the matrix. The method includes compressing the molding compound by the tool and by the compressing forming the molding compound to a green product. The method further includes providing the green product while disposed in the tool with a layer in a sub-region by incorporating a liquid material for producing the layer into the tool and applying the liquid material to the sub-region. The liquid material is a metallic material and the layer is an electromagnetic shielding on the green product.
Breathalyzer car key locking device
A breathalyzer car key locking device comprises a mouthpiece, an alcohol sensor, a locking mechanism, and a processing element. The mouthpiece receives breath from a user. The alcohol sensor receives the user's breath from the mouthpiece, determines a blood alcohol level of the breath, and outputs an electronic blood alcohol level signal whose voltage level or digital data value varies according to the determined blood alcohol level. The locking mechanism exists in one of two states including a locked state and an unlocked state. The locking mechanism retains a car key in the locked state and releases the car key in the unlocked state. The processing element receives the blood alcohol level signal from the alcohol sensor, and transmits an electronic locking signal that places the locking mechanism in the locked state when an aspect of the blood alcohol level signal is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold.
Electromagnetic wave absorber and electronic device
An electromagnetic wave absorber includes: a first layer having a first enclosing layer that encloses an electromagnetic wave radiator, and a first metal film formed on the first enclosing layer.
LOW FREQUENCY SHIELD SOLUTIONS WITH SPUTTERED/SPRAYED ABSORBER MATERIALS AND/OR ABSORBER MATERIALS MIXED IN MOLD COMPOUND
An electronic device includes an electromagnetic interference shield having a layer of conductive material covering at least a portion of the electronic device and having a skin depth of less than 2 m for electromagnetic signals having frequencies in a kilohertz range.
