An electromagnetic shielding lock box comprises an openable and closable box body. The box body is defined an accommodating groove, made by electromagnetic shielding materials, and has a lock unit and a hooking member. The box body is closed for receiving at least one key while the lock unit is in a locked status and for shielding the transmission of at least one electromagnetic wave signal due to the electromagnetic shielding materials. The lock unit is further limited the hooking member to be locked to the box body. The box body is opened for taking the at least one key out while the lock unit is in an unlocked status to unlock the hooking member from the box body.

Electromagnetic shielding receptacle formed from a composite laminate having interlaminar resonance chambers
A receptacle that houses electrical and electronic components and shields the components from harmful electromagnetic radiation uses a series of interspersed graphite layers with metal mesh and/or metal-coated carbon fiber layers in overlapping tape format that are fused together to form a laminate. In addition to the electromagnetic radiation absorption occasioned by the metal mesh layers, resonance chambers are formed within the laminate between adjoining metal mesh layers. The resonance chambers are tuned such that waves of certain frequencies are reflected away from the internal chamber of the receptacle while other wave frequencies are resonated within the resonance chambers. This allows the components of the receptacle to be shielded from incoming belligerent waves while allowing the dispatch of useful outgoing waves.

The cover also includes a thermal pathway for transferring energy as heat from an interior of compartment containing the electronic components to an environment outside the cover. Additionally, the cover can include an electromagnetic interference and/or radio frequency interference shield to prevent interference with other electronic components on and/or nearby the vehicle during operation.
