Method for providing an electrical connection, comprising connecting a first cable to a first conducting structure on a printed circuit board, connecting a second cable to a second conducting structure on the printed circuit board, comparing a propagation delay of a first signal path comprising the first cable and the first conducting structure on the printed circuit board, and a propagation delay of a second signal path comprising the second cable and the second conducting structure on the printed circuit board; and removing conductive material of the first conducting structure and/or of the second conducting structure, in order to modify an electrical length of the first conducting structure and/or of the second conducting structure, to obtain a first conducting path and a second conducting path, in dependence on a result of the comparison, in order to reduce a difference of the propagation delays between the first signal path and the second signal path.
Method for repairing conductor tracks
A method for modifying an elongate structure including providing a fluid deposited onto the substrate, the fluid containing a dispersion of electrically polarizable nanoparticles and applying an AC voltage across a portion of the elongate structure so as to cause an alternating electric current to pass through the narrow section such that a break in the elongate structure is formed at the narrow section, the break being defined between a first broken end and a second broken end of the elongate structure, and then cause, when the break is formed, an alternating electric field to be applied to the fluid such that a plurality of the nanoparticles contained in the fluid are assembled to form a continuation of the elongate structure extending from the first broken end towards the second broken end so as to join the first and second broken ends.

A method for forming a printed circuit board includes: forming on a substrate a first conductive layer for a first edge connector pin and a first conductive layer for a second edge connector pin, wherein the first conductive layer for the first edge connector pin and the first conductive layer for the second edge connector pin are electrically coupled to one another via a first conductive layer for an electrical bridging element; electroplating a second conductive layer onto both the first conductive layer for the first edge connector pin and the first conductive layer for the second edge connector pin via a plating current conductor; and removing at least a portion of the electrical bridging element to electrically separate the first edge connector pin from the second edge connector pin.
CIRCUIT BOARD
A circuit board includes a substrate, a plurality of contacts disposed on a surface of the substrate, and a solder mask. The contacts have a plurality of plating regions and a metal layer on the plating regions, and the plating regions have at least two different sizes. The solder mask covers the surface of the substrate and covers edges of the plating regions, in which topmost surfaces of the contacts are below a top surface of the solder mask, and a gap between the topmost surfaces of the contacts and the top surface of the solder mask is larger than 0 μm and is smaller than 5 μm.
METHOD OF FABRICATING CIRCUIT BOARD
A method of fabricating a circuit board includes forming a conductive layer on a surface of a substrate, and patterning the conductive layer to define a plurality of plating regions and a plurality of plating lines. The plating regions have at least two different sizes, a first group of the plating regions are interconnected by a first plating line of the plating lines, and a second group of the plating regions are interconnected by a second plating line of the plating lines. A ratio of a total area of the first group of the plating regions to a total area of the second group of the plating regions is from about 1 to about 5. A solder mask is formed on the surface of the substrate to cover the plating lines and partially expose the plating regions. At least one metal layer is electroplated on the exposed plating regions.
Method of fabricating circuit board
A method of fabricating a circuit board includes forming a conductive layer on a surface of a substrate, and patterning the conductive layer to define a plurality of plating regions and a plurality of plating lines. The plating regions have at least two different sizes, a first group of the plating regions are interconnected by a first plating line of the plating lines, and a second group of the plating regions are interconnected by a second plating line of the plating lines. A ratio of a total area of the first group of the plating regions to a total area of the second group of the plating regions is from about 1 to about 5. A solder mask is formed on the surface of the substrate to cover the plating lines and partially expose the plating regions. At least one metal layer is electroplated on the exposed plating regions.
Surface mounted LED device
A surface mounted Light Emitting Diode (LED) device includes a printed circuit board (PCB), at least one color LED chip mounted on the PCB, and a driving chip. The driving chip is mounted on the PCB and electrically connected to the at least one color LED chip to drive the at least one color LED chip. The driving chip has a signal input port and a signal output port. The signal input port is electrically connected to a signal input conductive pad, and the signal output port is electrically connected to a signal output conductive pad. The surface mounted LED device further includes a gap located between the signal input conductive pad and the signal output conductive pad for creating a space for a cutting apparatus to sever any conductive line through the gap, and making a manufacturing procedure of the surface mounted LED device easier.
High-frequency module
A high-frequency module (1) includes a component (3a) mounted on an upper surface (2a) of a substrate (2), a second sealing resin layer (4) stacked on the upper surface (2a) of the substrate (2), a component (3b) mounted on a lower surface (2b) of the substrate (2), a first sealing resin layer (5) stacked on the lower surface (2b) of the substrate (2), and a first terminal assembly (6) and a second terminal assembly (7) that are mounted on the lower surface (2b) of the substrate (2). The first terminal assembly (6) is mounted on a four-corner portion of the substrate (2) and includes a connection conductor (6a) thicker than a connection conductor (7a) of the second terminal assembly (7).
