A method of fabricating a carbon nanotube based device, including forming a trench having a bottom surface and sidewalls on a substrate, selectively depositing a bi-functional compound having two reactive moieties in the trench, wherein a first of the two reactive moieties selectively binds to the bottom surface, converting a second of the two reactive moieties to a diazonium salt; and reacting the diazonium salt with a dispersion of carbon nanotubes to form a carbon nanotube layer bound to the bottom surface of the trench.

A process of producing a radiation-emitting organic-electronic device having a first and a second electrode layer and an emitter layer includes: A) providing a phosphorescent emitter with an anisotropic molecule structure and a matrix material, B) applying the first electrode layer to a substrate, C) applying the emitter layer under thermodynamic control, with vaporization of the phosphorescent emitter and of the matrix material under reduced pressure and deposition thereof on the first electrode layer such that molecules of the phosphorescent emitter are in anisotropic alignment, and D) applying the second electrode layer on the emitter layer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING PEROVSKITE FILM FOR SOLAR CELL APPLICATIONS
A system and method for fabricating perovskite films for solar cell applications are provided, the system including a housing for use as a vacuum chamber, a substrate stage coupled to the top section of the housing; a first evaporator unit coupled to the bottom section of the housing and configured to generate BX.sub.2 (metal halide material) vapor; a second evaporator unit coupled to the housing and configured to generate AX (organic material) vapor; and a flow control unit coupled to the housing for controlling circulation of the AX vapor. The dimensions of the horizontal cross-sectional shape of the first evaporator unit, the dimensions of the horizontal cross-sectional shape of the substrate stage, and the relative position in the horizontal direction between the two horizontal cross-sectional shapes are configured to maximize the overlap between the two horizontal cross-sectional shapes.

A flexible array substrate structure and manufacturing method thereof are disclosed, in which the patterning process of an organic semi-conductive layer is achieved by using the inside wall of the opening of a color film layer as a bank, so that one mask can be saved. Also, a process for manufacturing a device can be simplified by an improved device structure, so that the flexible array substrate structure of the invention can be obtained by only using four masks.

A method and device for modifying a film deposition position in a film deposition process with a mask component are disclosed. The mask component includes a mask frame and a mask body fixed to the mask frame. The method includes obtaining a first offset displacement between a plurality of second mark points on the mask component and a plurality of first mark points on the mask body, obtaining a second offset displacement between the plurality of third mark points on the substrate and the plurality of second mark points on the mask component, determining an actual offset displacement between an actual forming position and a preset forming position of the film, according to the first offset displacement and the second offset displacement, and modifying the preset forming position of the film, according to the actual offset displacement between the actual forming position and the preset forming position of the film.

An organic EL display device includes a pixel electrode, a pixel isolation insulating film on which an opening at a bottom of which the pixel electrode is exposed is formed, an aggregate of an organic material partially formed on the pixel electrode that is exposed at the bottom of the opening, an organic film, including a light emitting layer, that covers the pixel electrode and the aggregate, and an opposing electrode that covers the organic film. The aggregate is formed at a corner formed by the pixel electrode that is exposed at the bottom of the opening and an inner wall that forms the opening of the pixel isolation insulating film.

A film-forming ink of the invention includes a film-forming material and a liquid medium in which the film-forming material is dissolved or dispersed, wherein the liquid medium contains a first component which has a boiling point at an atmospheric pressure of 200° C. or higher and a second component which has a boiling point at an atmospheric pressure lower than the first component.
