An apparatus, methods and systems are provided for creating a shot information database comprising ball flight data combined with a user's intended golf shot type, the user's golf club selection, the user's setup position and dynamic swing adjustment made to produce the golfer's intended golf shot with the selected golf club to produce said golf shot. This invention presents to the user such information as a score, wherein said score reflects the accuracy of the user's golf shot. In addition, the ball flight data includes a trajectory angle, an elevation angle, a quadrant in a target plane comprising an x-y coordinate system coplanar with said target plane and a characterization of a type of golf shot produced by said golfer, such as a draw. Another embodiment of this invention performs a statistical analysis on said shot information to create basic and advance shot reports to assist a golfer or a third party to learn a golfer's strengths and weaknesses with respect to the user's ability to hit certain golf shots with certain golf clubs; in addition, the golfer is able to learn with setup keys and swing keys are more successful in hitting certain golf shots with certain golf clubs. In this manner a golfer or user is able to learn what it takes to improve his/her golf swing while better understanding their particular capabilities and tendencies. Another embodiment of this invention allows a golfer to practice indoors in a manner that simulates outdoor practice at a driving range, For golfer's who are visually impaired, this invention provides accurate feedback to a golfer who is visually impaired to the extent that they cannot see the flight of the struck golf ball. Said golfer benefits little at a driving range where they are unable to see the results of their golf swings This apparatus characterizes each golf shot using a particular practice ball which interoperates with the apparatus in such a way to enable said apparatus to acquire said ball flight data. Another embodiment of this invention allows a golfer to enter or speak remarks on the results of the previous shots or, more simply called post shot remarks. All shot information is stored in permanent storage for later historical performance analysis.

A system that wirelessly integrates actual golf equipment, game apparatus, or gaming tool, with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive real or simulated game. An individual player may opt to play solo or practice to improve basic golfing or sports techniques. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information between players, generate and control visual simulations and display player performance information and dynamic motion parameters.

The electrical component comprises an integrated circuit having a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and a BLUETOOTH low energy (BTLE) radio, and at least one battery. A body is composed of an epoxy material, and the body encompasses the electrical component.

A mixed reality golf simulation and training system that can use, along with a user's existing standard golf equipment, a golf ball launch monitor to track the initial ball positional data, spin and acceleration, and simulate the complete ball path and location or use complete ball tracking data and displays the actual ball path and location. Mixed reality glasses allow the display of ball tracking data over the real world view and/or an immersive display of a simulated world view, depending on the user's head or view position. Golf simulation graphical views can include various options, including simulated or panoramic photographic views of a golf course, simulated graphics and data superimposed over a real world driving range view, or simple ball tracking data superimposed over a real world view at any location.

Described is an apparatus for practicing a golf swing in either an indoor or outdoor environment. The apparatus includes a frame with a leg portion, a rebounding surface, an arm with a cord that is secured to golf ball, and a mat. A golfer can practice a golf swing by striking the ball secured to the cord, and receives instantaneous feedback based on the ball's trajectory, sound produced when the ball hits the rebounding surface, and divot markings imprinted on the mat.

A hitting system for sports training includes a ball attached to a flexible pole. In some embodiments, the flexible pole may be mounted to a base with more than five sidewalls, which inhibits movement of the system in any one direction after the ball is struck by the user. The pole may project upward from the base. Some embodiments include a weighted basket, which may be filled for example with a plurality of the same type of ball mounted to the flexible pole. Some embodiments may include a clamping system to mount the pole and ball to a fence so that the ball is parallel to the floor.
