Cochlear Implant Electrode Lead and Method for Manufacturing the same
An electrode lead for a cochlear implant system may include a tube having an interior volume and an outer peripheral surface; a plurality of stimulating electrodes disposed on a distal portion of the electrode lead; a ground electrode disposed on a proximal portion of the electrode lead for providing a current return path for stimulation current generated by the plurality of stimulation electrodes, wherein the ground electrode is ring-shaped and is fixed on and around the outer peripheral surface of the tube; and a ground wire extending within the interior volume of the tube to the ground electrode and being electrically connected to the ground electrode through an opening in a wall of the tube.

Wire harness
It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

A flame retardant resin composition including a base resin including 18 to 85% by mass of a high density polyethylene, 9 to 69% by mass of a low density polyethylene, and 3 to 25% by mass of an acid-modified polyolefin compound, and 25 parts by mass to 110 parts by mass of calcium carbonate particles, more than 1 part by mass to 10 parts by mass of a silicone-based compound, and 2 parts by mass to 20 parts by mass of a fatty acid-containing compound, each on the basis of 100 parts by mass of the base resin.

A durable coating which reduces ice adhesion and minimizes ice accumulation includes a polymeric binder and a film forming lubricant.
