Magnetic stand for tablet device
09839147 · 2017-12-05 · ·

A magnetic stand for a tablet device is disclosed. The magnetic stand is configured to rigidly hold a portion of the tablet device in place and to shield the magnetic field from adversely affecting nearby devices susceptible to strong magnetic fields. The shielding portion of the magnetic stand allows for significant increases in magnetic field strength when compared to similarly configured, unshielded products.

TABLE PAD SECTIONS WITH MAGNETIC COUPLING SYSTEM

A table pad assembly includes a first pad section and a second pad section. The first pad section includes a first section lip that has a first magnetic element. The second pad section includes a second section lip that has a second magnetic element. The second section lip overlaps the first section lip when the second pad section is positioned adjacent to the first pad section, and the second magnetic element overlaps the first magnetic element when the second pad section is positioned adjacent to the first pad section, such that the first and second magnetic elements cooperate to releasably couple the first and second pad sections.

Mouthguard with Magnetic Tethering

A dual layer mouthguard with a U-shape polycarbonate/EVA skeletal base includes channels and ramps to ensure a uniform thickness on the occlusal, buccal and lingual surfaces of the teeth for proper alignment of the jaw and positioning for protection during the placement of the mouthguard. The liner is softer than the base when introduced to heat and remains softer as it is cooled. The base may also include metal/magnetic insertion to serve as a tethering device for temporary storage.

MOVABLE MAGNET TYPE BICYCLE PEDAL, AND SHOE COUPLING DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH MEANS FOR PREVENTING ATTACHMENT OF METAL POWDER
20220055714 · 2022-02-24 ·

The present invention relates to a movable magnet type bicycle pedal, and a shoe coupling device equipped with a means for preventing attachment of metal powder. More particularly, the present invention relates to a movable magnet type bicycle pedal and a shoe coupling device equipped with a means for preventing attachment of metal powder, wherein the shoe coupling device and the pedal are respectively provided with a magnet, and are coupled to each other by magnetic force only during pedaling, and, when the pedaling is stopped or the running of a bicycle is stopped, the coupling between the magnets is released through a magnetic separation means and at the same time metal powder attached to a shoe is caused to fall so as to prevent the metal powder from being attached to the shoe.

Magnetic Pacifier with Tracking Device
20220054363 · 2022-02-24 ·

This present invention relates to a magnetic pacifier that is capable of being used with a face mask or other facial covering, and that does not negatively impact the effectiveness of the facial covering. The magnetic pacifier is of two part construction, wherein a first flange is positioned on one side of the facial covering, and a second flange is positioned on the opposite side of the facial covering but magnetically attached to the first flange. The magnetic pacifier further comprises a discreet but effective RFID tag, GPS chip or other location beacon that will allow the parent, guardian, caregiver or law enforcement to located a missing child via the pacifier.

MAGNETIC FIXINGS AND CONNECTORS
20170301446 · 2017-10-19 ·

A mechanism for fixing together first and second parts and comprising first and second guides provided respectively in or attached to the first and second parts. The mechanism further comprises first and second magnetic components coupled respectively to the first and second guides such that the first magnetic component is rotatable with the first guide and the first part, and the second magnetic component cannot rotate relative to the second guide, the magnetic components being moveable axially and rotationally with respect to each other and having magnetic poles oriented such that rotation of said first magnetic component causes relative axial movement of the magnetic components between a locking position in which one of the magnetic components straddles the two guides and an unlocking position in which it does not straddle the two guides.

AN ELECTRIC FENCE ENERGISER SYSTEM AND METHODS OF OPERATION AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
20170303375 · 2017-10-19 ·

An electric fence energizer including an IPC (isolated power coupling) power transmitter and an IPC power receiver adapted to receive power from the IPC power transmitter and supply power to the energizer. A pulse shaping circuit between an energy source and output transformer of the energizer may include a series inductance of between 2 μH to 20 μH and a parallel capacitance of between 3μF to 30 μF. The energizer output transformer may comprise a primary winding consisting of less than 15 turns and a secondary winding of between 5 and 50 times the number of turns of the primary winding. The energizer may produce a pulse having a duration of between 20 μs and 60 μs and a peak amplitude greater than 5 kV into 300 Ω.

Mount apparatus for securing an electronic device to a surface

Various embodiments of a mount apparatus are disclosed herein for securing an electronic device (such as a radar laser detector, GPS device, and/or dash camera or other electronic device used within a vehicle) to a surface such as an interior surface (e.g., windshield, dashboard) of a vehicle. In one example, the mount apparatus includes a magnet which is adapted to be coupled with a corresponding metal surface within the electronic device, so that the magnet positioned within the apparatus provides a magnetic force to aid a user in securing the mount apparatus and the electronic device to each other.

Magnet fastener with resilient support including at least one projection

A magnet fastener includes a cup, a magnet received in the cup and a carrier. The carrier receives and holds the cup while the resilient support includes at least one projection that engages the cup and provides a biasing force to prevent rattling or ticking of the cup on the carrier.

Mechanical locking of floor panels with vertical snap folding

Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system on long and short edges allowing installation with vertical snap folding that could be accomplished automatically without tools and where the short edge locking system has a tongue made in one piece with the panel.
