APPARATUS FOR NATURAL TORSO AND LIMBS TRACKING AND FEEDBACK FOR ELECTRONIC INTERACTION
An apparatus for natural torso and limbs tracking and feedback for electronic interaction with fall safety support. The apparatus comprises a body harness worn on the body of a user, a support structure designed to bear the weight of the user in the event of a stumble, trip, or fall, and a plurality of tethers attached at one end to the harness and at the other end to the support structure. One or more sensors are integrated into the system to measure aspects of the user's movement and used as input to control a computer system. In the event of stumble, trip, or fall, all of, or a portion of, the user's body weight is borne by the tethers as a safety mechanism to prevent injury. The system is designed to be used with virtual reality systems wherein the user's vision is blocked or obscured by a virtual reality visor.
Interactive exercise machine system with mirror display
An interactive exercise system includes a mechanical support system and a display module held by the mechanical support system. A mirror element is attached to at least partially cover the display module. At least one movable arm is connected to the support system and at least one force-controlled component is connected to the mechanical support system. The force-controlled component can be graspable by a user and allows for a range of exercise types and programs.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TEACHING GOLF
A method for performing golf lessons on a server includes receiving information on the gender, age, and body type of the golfer and setting a lesson goal for the golfer, analyzing the golfer's swing motion acquired from the server and analyzing the club face control and lever system of the golfer, analyzing the path control of the club according to the golfer's swing, analyzing the control accuracy of the impact of hitting a golf ball and the flight of the golf ball, analyzing the consistency between the golfer's golf swing and the flight of the golf ball resulting therefrom over a plurality of times, analyzing the head speed of the club and the speed of the golf ball, and determining whether the set lesson goal of the golfer has been achieved.
Free-standing a-frame exercise equipment cabinet
A free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet comprising a first portion of the free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet configured to removably house first exercise weight plates of a plurality of different sizes and a plurality of different weights. A second portion of the cabinet is configured to house a computer screen display. A third portion of the cabinet is configured to house at least one camera, one or more processors, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the cabinet to present a display on the computer screen display housed in the second portion of the cabinet. A fourth portion of the cabinet is configured to removably house at least one barbell and a plurality of dumbbells. A fifth portion of the cabinet comprises four legs of the cabinet that allow the cabinet to stand upright without additional support.
Body joystick for interacting with virtual reality or mixed reality machines or software applications
A system and method for using a body joystick to interact with a virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications that uses a support arm to hold a device for attaching the body joystick to a user's body, a sensor for detecting movement, and a tether and actuator for providing feedback to the user about interactions with the virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL INTELLIGENT FITNESS AND PHYSIOTHERAPY DEVICE
A multifunctional fitness device comprising a fitness device body, a support arm and an intelligent control system, with a display device being disposed on a front surface of the fitness device body, the display device being a mirror display screen having functions of video teaching and ordinary mirror, a camera device being disposed at the top of the display device, and the camera device including a micro-camera and an infrared camera, support arms being disposed at both sides of the fitness device body through sliding rails respectively, a gear groove being disposed on the support arm, a gear fixing device for use in cooperation with the gear groove being disposed on the sliding rail, a rope being disposed inside the support arm, the other end of the rope being connected with an intelligent motor, which motor produces resistance to provide a resistant force to the support arm.
MOTION-BASED VIRTUAL-REALITY SIMULATOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are a motion-based virtual-reality simulator device and a method for controlling the same. The motion-based virtual-reality simulator device includes a virtual-reality interface for outputting virtual reality content in a form of multi-sense data that is perceptible by a user, a virtual-reality movement implementation unit including a track component for performing continuous track motion in a state in which a user gets on the track component, the track component being configured such that a slope of the track component is controlled while a surface of the track component is deformed into an even surface or an uneven surface, and an interworking control unit for outputting a control signal to the virtual-reality movement implementation unit so that a slope and a surface of the track component are deformed in accordance with the virtual reality content that is output through the virtual-reality interface.
GOLF SWING ANALYSIS SYSTEM, GOLF SWING ANALYSIS METHOD AND INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM
A captured video image obtaining unit 70 obtains a captured video image in which a player making a golf swing is captured. A club head path specifying unit 82 specifies a path of a club head captured in a captured video image based on the captured video image. A launch direction specifying unit 84 specifies a launch direction of a ball captured in a captured video image based on the captured video image. A curve direction determining unit 88 determines a curve direction of the launched ball based on the path of the club head and the launch direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLIMBING
Systems and methods for providing climbing walls are discussed. While such systems and methods can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a climbing wall that has a base member and a climbing surface that includes at least one climbing hold. In some cases, the climbing surface is pivotally connected to the base member. Additionally, in some cases, the system includes an anchor that is configured to adjustably retain the climbing surface at an angle with respect to the base member. In some cases, the system further includes a camera, microphone, and/or display that are configured to allow a climber to have audio and/or visual interactions with another person in a remote location (e.g., for training, competition, etc.). In some cases, at least one climbing hold on the climbing surface comprises a sensor that is configured to indicate when a climber has used that hold. Other implementations are described.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a processor and a memory with instructions thereon. The instructions upon execution by the processor, causes the processor to: sequentially sense a movement of a body of a user; present, to the user, an avatar corresponding to the user, rather than a photographed image of an appearance of the user, based on a result of the sensing so that the user perceives a shape of a surface of the body of the user; determine a position of a figure object to be drawn that serves as a guide for movement of the body of the user in association with the avatar based on the result of the sensing; and display the figure object at the determined position.
