A solenoid valve and a manufacturing method are disclosed. The solenoid valve includes a main body portion, a movable iron core, a valve portion, a lower cover and an upper cover. Wherein the main body portion includes a bobbin, a fixed iron core, a magnetic conductive portion, a coil and an outer case. The outer case covers the bobbin, the fixed iron core, the magnetic conductive portion, and the coil. The movable iron core is movable relative to the fixed iron core, and the lower cover is disposed in the valve portion. A left side surface of the upper cover is fixed at the valve portion and the lower cover, and a right side surface of the upper covers is fixed at the main body portion. The solenoid valve has stable size and stable operation, and can quickly cut off the air pressure, and the control effect is good.

Method of assembling a torque motor

There is provided a method of assembling a torque motor. The method comprises fastening the torque motor to a support such that any magnetic elements of the torque motor are substantially fixed in position with respect to the support, but without securing an armature to the torque motor, locating the armature of the torque motor around a fixed element of the torque motor such that the armature is able to move with respect to the fixed element, moving the armature with respect to the fixed element whilst the magnetic elements of the torque motor are substantially fixed in position with respect to the support, so as to position the armature in an in use orientation or position, and then attaching the armature to the fixed element in the in use orientation or position.

The stator core includes a magnetic attraction core, a slide core, and a magnetic flux passage restricting portion. The slide core includes: a core portion formed in a tubular shape; and a first magnetic flux transmitting portion configured to transmit magnetic flux between the yoke and the plunger through the core portion. The magnetic flux passage restricting portion is configured to restrict passage of the magnetic flux between the slide core and the magnetic attraction core. A second magnetic flux transmitting portion is configured to transmit the magnetic flux between the magnetic attraction core and the side wall. An elastic member is arranged in contact with an end surface of the magnetic attraction core and is configured to bias the stator core toward the bottom.
