Dynamic shin guard
A description is given of a shin guard (1) having a shin element (2) which is based on a hard plastics material or metal and has a concave inner side (16) which is curved transversally to a longitudinal axis (41) of the shin guard and encloses an interior (18) for accommodating a user's shin region. The shin guard is characterized in that at the lower end of the shin element (2), said lower end being directed towards the user's foot, it has a separate sliding element (3), which is based on a hard plastics material or metal and has a concave inner side (17), winch is adapted to the lower region of the shin element (2) and is curved transversally to the longitudinal axis (41) of the shin guard, as well as a convex outer surface (11), and in that the sliding element (3) is mounted such that it can be displaced dynamically essentially along the longitudinal axis (41), within defined limits, counter to a spring force directed towards the foot.
DECOMPRESSION FLOATING PROTECTIVE PATELLAR KNEE JOINT PAD
A decompression floating protective patellar knee joint pad for preventing contact between the patella and an external surface may include a fabric sleeve sized to surround a user's knee region, extending from the user's lower leg to the user's thigh; a stabilizing platform with a central opening mimicking a shape of the patellar region of the user attached to the fabric sleeve; a cushioning material attached to a posterior surface of the stabilizing; and a patellar cap attached to the stabilizing platform and covering the central opening, wherein the patellar cap is protracted away from the user, creating a void configured to prevent the patella from having contact with the external surface.
METHOD FOR PREPARING SPORTSWEAR PROTECTION PAD, AND PROTECTION PAD OBTAINED BY USING METHOD
A manufacturing method of protective pad for sportswear and the protective pad obtained by the manufacturing method are disclosed. The manufacturing method has the steps of: 1. making separate paddings using spongy materials; 2. choosing several paddings being made; adhering the several paddings with fabric pieces by heat press using a heat press mold and heat press formation devices, thereby forming the protective pad for sportswear. Specifically, the heat press mold contains cavities for accommodating the paddings; before heat press, laying a first fabric piece on the heat press mold, and then placing the paddings into the cavities; and after that laying a second fabric piece over the paddings; applying glues between the first fabric piece, the second fabric piece and the paddings; finally, adhering the first fabric piece, the second fabric piece and the paddings by heat press using the heat press formation devices.
ATHLETIC GEAR OR OTHER WEARABLE ARTICLES COMPRISING AN EXPANDABLE USER-ENGAGING STRUCTURE
A wearable article such as an article of athletic gear (e.g., a skate, an article of protective athletic equipment such as a helmet, etc.) wearable by a user and comprising an expandable user-engaging structure that is configured to be expanded (e.g., by heat or another stimulus) after manufacturing of the wearable article to conform it to the user or otherwise improve a fit of the wearable article on the user.
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS SHIN GUARD AND DETACHABLE TRAINING CALF PAD
Products related to the field of protective guards for practicing combat sports are disclosed herein. One training gear set for combat sports can include a shin guard and a concave calf pad. The calf pad can be detachably attached to the shin guard. The shin guard and calf pad can include attachment means and can be detachably attached to each other via the attachment means. The Shing guard and calf pad can be prepared so that the attachment means are not exposed when the calf pad and the shin guard are in an attached position.
SHIN GUARD WITH THREE DIMENSIONAL IMAGE ELEMENT
A shin guard includes a protective plate having a front face and a rear face. The rear face is contoured to fit around a shin of a wearer of the shin guard. Further, the shin guard includes a three dimensional image element carried on the front face. This image element projects an image outline through a sock worn over the shin guard.
Leg pad
A leg pad (e.g., a hockey leg pad) for protecting a leg of a user, in which the leg pad is designed to enhance protection and freedom of movement (e.g., during skating strides), such as by providing flexibility of the leg pad proximate to a knee and optionally an ankle of the user (e.g., for extension and optional retraction of one or more parts of the leg pad) to better follow natural movements of the user's leg (e.g., bending of the knee and optional flexion of the ankle of the user).
ATHLETIC GEAR OR OTHER DEVICES COMPRISING POST-MOLDED EXPANDABLE COMPONENTS
A device (e.g., an article of athletic gear) comprising a post-molded expandable component, which is a part of the device that is configured to be expanded or has been expanded after being molded. This may allow the post-molded expandable component to have enhanced characteristics (e.g., be more shock-absorbent, lighter, etc.), to be cost-effectively manufactured (e.g., by using less material and/or making it in various sizes), and/or to be customized for a user (e.g., by custom-fitting it to the user).
WEIGHTLIFTING WRAP
A weightlifting wrap is provided which prevents slippage, increases rebound potential, allows simpler application, and provides greater stability. The wrap includes a stretchable material having exposed elongate pliable strand members on one outer surface of the wrap. The exposed pliable strand members are arranged in an offset lattice configuration. The exposed pliable strand members may have a coefficient of friction sufficient to grip the previous layer of wrap.
JOINT MOVEMENT SUPPORTING PROTECTION DEVICE
A joint movement supporting protection device, comprising a joint protection body (1) matched with a joint in shape, and a fixing device (2) connected or contacted with the joint protection body (1) and tightly attaching the joint protection body (1) to a joint of a human body. A plurality of upper notches (11) extending downwards from top but not penetrating through bottom are formed in a portion, close to a joint movement area, of the joint protection body (1). Thus, the joint protection body (1) is divided into a plurality of joint pieces (12). A junction of the upper notch (11) and a lower edge of the joint protection body (1) serves as a rotation fulcrum (13) between adjacent joint pieces (12). When the joint bends to a limiting position, the two adjacent joint pieces (12) on two sides of the upper notch (11) contact.
