Weight ratio arrangement for a weight machine
An exercise machine may include a support frame; at least one weight rack configured to receive added weight; and a weight ratio arrangement engaged with the support frame, the at least one weight rack, and a first attachment. The weight ratio arrangement may include an exercise cable having a first end connected to the first attachment and a second end connected to a portion of the machine; at least two movable pulley blocks, each including at least one pulley, wherein the at least one weight rack is attached to and configured to move with one of the at least two movable pulley blocks; and a locking mechanism movable between a locked position in which only one movable pulley block is movable and an unlocked position in which the two movable pulley blocks are movable. The exercise cable may be operatively connected to the at least two movable pulley blocks.
Gymperformance exercise machine
An improved compact exercise machine includes a resistance system with respect to a base for allowing an exerciser to perform a wide range of exercises on a resistance system exercise machine. The compact exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine that has a resistance system with respect to a base. The exercise machine may assume one or more compact configurations to adjust the base of the exercise machine. One or more actuators may be connected to the base of the exercise machine to effectuate the resistance system of the exercise machine with respect to the base.
AUTOMATIC BODY POSITIONING EXERCISE SUPPORT SYSTEM
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a body positioning and support system having shoulder support surfaces (SSSs) and a lumbar support surface (LSS) offset downwards from a torso support surface (TSS). In an illustrative example, the TSS extends in a first plane along a longitudinal axis. An SSS may, for example, extend from each side of the TSS in opposite directions along a transverse axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis in the first plane. The LSS may, for example, be distal to the TSS. The SSSs may, for example, each be defined by a first offset from the first plane towards a base plane. The LSS may, for example, be displaced from the first plane towards the base plane by at least a second offset. A neck support surface may extend from a proximal end of the TSS. Various embodiments may advantageously automatically position and support (targeted) body anatomy.
Motorized recumbent therapeutic and exercise device
A device for therapy or exercise includes a frame, a base at least partially supporting and extending from the frame, a user support moveably coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the frame, a foot crank system coupled to the frame, a hand crank system coupled to the frame, and a motor coupled to at least one of the foot crank system and the hand crank system. The motor selectively powers the foot crank system and the hand crank system and is operable in an active mode and a passive mode.
Spinal cord and meninges stretching frame and method to prevent and treat the root cause of scoliosis
The progress of what has previously been considered idiopathic scoliosis it is arrested and corrected by exercises that gradually stretch the spinal cord to catch and keep up with bone growth. An inventive frame enables such exercises by precluding the movement of the spinal column that is a result of the shorter spinal cord.
Rehabilitation system and method therefor
A knee rehabilitation system includes a plurality of compressible resistance members, a knee garment, and a resistance member receptacle. Each compressible resistance member in the plurality of compressible resistance members has (i) a same size and a shape as each other compressible resistance member in the plurality of compressible resistance members, and (ii) a compression resistance different from each other compressible resistance member in the plurality of compressible resistance members. The knee garment has a knee garment ventral portion and a knee garment dorsal portion. The resistance member receptacle is coupled to the knee garment dorsal portion, and the resistance member receptacle is sized to carry each compressible resistance member in the plurality of compressible resistance members, one at a time.
COMBINATION TRAINING EQUIPMENT
Apparatus (100) for exercising the muscles, comprising an exercising device (1) having a power arm or lever (2), which can be equipped with actuating elements (4) at a first end (3) and, by way of a second end (5), is arranged on a retaining element (6) in a way pivotable about a pivot axis at a first articulated joint (9), whereby a compression-spring element (11) can be articulated, by way of a first end (10), at a first point of articulation (12) on the power arm (2) and is articulated, by way of a second end (13), at a second point of articulation (14) on the retaining element (6), and also comprising a cable-pull arrangement (50) having a cable (60). The cable-pull arrangement (50) of the apparatus (100) is fixed in a releasable manner in a spatial relationship to the exercising device (1), independently of the exercising device (1), by means of a first fixing device (52) and is able to be combined with the power arm (2) of the exercising device (1) by means of a second fixing device (58), so that the cable-pull arrangement (50) is connectible to the exercising device (1) in order for training to take place.
PATIENT BED HAVING ACTIVE MOTION EXERCISE
A patient support apparatus may include a frame and an articulated deck coupled to the frame. The articulated deck may include a head section, a seat section, a thigh section, and a foot section. The seat section may include a stationary frame coupled to the frame and a moveable frame that moves relative to the stationary frame. The moveable frame may move between a retracted position and an extended position.
Exercise machine handle system
An exercise machine which allows for a wide range of exercises while maintaining improved balance and control for the exerciser. The exercise machine generally includes a frame having a first track, a carriage movably connected to the first track, a first platform and a second platform connected to the frame, a first stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform, and a second stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform.
Locking device for recumbent stepper
A locking device for an exercise system may include a locking member having a contact portion and configured to move between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the contact portion of the locking member is not in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly. When in the second position, the contact portion of the locking member is in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.
