Switch device

A switch device includes a panel housing a knob, the panel having a wall face around the knob. In at least one of outside faces of the knob, the outside faces opposing the wall face and another member adjacent to the knob, the outside face has a base part formed on an upper side thereof and a recess part formed in a lower side thereof. The recess part extends to a lower end of the outside face. The base part has an obliquely downwardly inclined parts formed on a lower edge part thereof. Accordingly, the device can ensure stable operation of the knob by discharging, from a gap between the panel and the knob, liquid that has entered the gap.

KEY STRUCTURE

A key structure includes a casing, a covering member, a pressing element, a triggering post, a switch element. The casing has an opening. The opening is covered by the covering member. The pressing element is disposed within the opening and connected with the covering member. The pressing element includes a middle part and an extension part. The triggering post is installed on the middle part of the pressing element. The triggering post is extended in the direction toward the inner position of the casing. When an external force is applied to the middle part of the pressing element, the triggering post is moved toward the switch element to push the switch element. When the external force is applied to the extension part of the pressing element, the triggering post is correspondingly moved with the pressing element in an inclined manner to push the switch element.

Low-force button design

A button for use with an image capture device in an underwater environment that includes a movable plunger configured to cause actuation of the image capture device and upper and lower components collectively defining an internal cavity that is configured to receive the plunger. The upper and lower components are configured and connected such that actuation of the image capture device is prevented until a threshold pressure is applied to the upper component that is greater than external water pressure applied in the underwater environment. The upper component includes at least one opening that is configured to allow water to enter the internal cavity to modify an internal pressure within the internal cavity so as to reduce the threshold pressure required to actuate the image capture device in the underwater environment.
