ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnet block having a spool with a through hole opening at a flange portion thereof and mounted on an upper surface of the base, a movable iron piece, a movable contact piece rotatable integrally with the movable iron piece, a movable contact fixed to a free end of the movable contact piece, and a fixed contact fixed to a fixed contact terminal and contactable with and separable from the movable contact along with rotation of the movable contact piece. Insulating ribs project from an inward facing surface of a spacer integrally formed with the movable iron piece and an outward facing surface of the flange portion respectively such that the insulating ribs intercept a straight line connecting a magnetic pole portion projecting through the through hole and the fixed contact or the fixed contact terminal with a shortest distance.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnetic block disposed on an upper surface of the base, a movable iron piece that rotates based on excitation/non-excitation of the electromagnetic block, a movable contact piece that rotates integrally with the movable iron piece, a movable contact fixed to a free end of the movable contact piece, a fixed contact disposed so as to come into or out of contact with the movable contact in association with rotation of the movable contact piece, and a magnetic field generation unit disposed so as to attract an arc generated between the movable contact and the fixed contact in a direction that, as seen from the fixed contact, is opposite to the movable contact and the base.

ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnet block mounted on an upper surface of the base, a movable iron piece configured to be rotatable based on excitation and non-excitation of the electromagnet block, a movable contact piece configured to be rotatable integrally with the movable iron piece, a movable contact fixed to a free end portion of the movable contact piece, and a fixed contact fixed to a fixed contact terminal, and disposed so as to be separable from and contacted with the movable contact along with rotation of the movable contact piece. A permanent magnet configured to induce an arc generated between the movable contact and the fixed contact in a predetermined direction is housed in a recessed portion formed on a lower surface of the base in a direction toward a side opposite to the movable contact as viewed from the fixed contact terminal.

Contact device, electromagnetic relay, and electrical device
A contact device includes a moving contactor, a pair of moving contacts arranged in one direction, a pair of fixed terminals, and a pair of fixed contacts. At least one fixed terminal, selected from the pair of fixed terminals, includes a contact holder. The contact holder includes a first fixed extension and a second fixed extension. As for either a current component flowing in the one direction into the fixed contact or a current component flowing in the one direction out of the fixed contact, the current component flowing through the first fixed extension has a larger amount of current than a current component flowing through the second fixed extension.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a pair of fixed terminals, a movable contact piece, and a magnet portion. The pair of fixed terminals includes fixed contact. The movable contact piece that includes a movable contact disposed facing the fixed contact and that is movable in a first direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and in a second direction in which the movable contact separates from fixed contact. The magnet portion generating a magnetic field for extending an arc generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact. At least one of a corner portion in the first direction side of the fixed terminal located in an arc extension direction in which the arc is extended or a corner portion in the second direction side of the movable contact piece located in the arc extension direction has a chamfered shape in a range where the arc passes through.

Sealed contact device
A sealed contact device capable of maintaining a function for drawing a generated arc to disappear rapidly and reliably for a long period. An electromagnetic relay includes a housing, a stationary contact and a moving contact which are disposed opposite to each other in the housing, and a pair of permanent magnets and disposed opposite to the stationary contact and the moving contact. An arc generated between the stationary contact and the moving contact is drawn due to a current conducting between the stationary contact and the moving contact and magnetic forces of the permanent magnets. An arc shield member is disposed in a position in which an arc in the housing is induced.
