An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a case, an arc extension space, a contact device, and a magnet. The contact device includes a fixed terminal, a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable contact. The magnet includes a first magnet portion facing the contact device, and a second magnet portion disposed adjacent to the first magnet portion and facing the arc extension space. The magnet generates a magnetic field to extend an arc generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact. The base is separated from a midpoint of a straight line between the fixed contact and the movable contact by a distance different from a distance between the base and a center of the arc extension space. The base is separated from a center of the first magnet portion by a distance different from a distance between the base and a center of the second magnet portion.

The contact device includes a fixed terminal, a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable contact. The magnet includes a first magnet portion facing the contact device, and a second magnet portion disposed adjacent to the first magnet portion and facing the arc extension space. The magnet generates a magnetic field to extend an arc generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact. The base is separated from a midpoint of a straight line between the fixed contact and the movable contact by a distance different from a distance between the base and a center of the arc extension space. The base is separated from a center of the first magnet portion by a distance different from a distance between the base and a center of the second magnet portion.

The case includes an accommodation space and a side wall covering the accommodation space in a first direction. The accommodation space includes a first space where the first fixed contact is disposed and a second space where the second fixed contact is disposed. The first magnet configured to extend a first arc generated between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact in the first direction. The gas flow path is disposed between the side wall and the movable contact piece. The gas flow path includes an inlet communicating with the first space and an outlet communicating with the second space.

The first magnet configured to extend a first arc generated between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact in the first direction. The gas flow path is disposed between the side wall and the movable contact piece. The gas flow path includes an inlet communicating with the first space and an outlet communicating with the second space.

An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable member, and a return spring. The movable contact piece includes a pair of movable contacts configured to contact the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The movable member is movable with the movable contact piece in a contact direction and in a separation direction. The return spring is disposed between the base and the movable member and urges the movable member in the separation direction. The base includes a guide portion to guide movement of the movable member. The movable member includes a sliding portion slidable with respect to the guide portion. The return spring is disposed inside the guide portion. The guide portion is disposed in the contact direction with respect to the first fixed contact.

An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable member, and a return spring. The movable contact piece includes a pair of movable contacts configured to contact the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The movable member is movable with the movable contact piece in a contact direction and in a separation direction. The return spring is disposed between the base and the movable member and urges the movable member in the separation direction. The base includes a guide portion to guide movement of the movable member. The movable member includes a sliding portion slidable with respect to the guide portion. The return spring is disposed inside the guide portion. The guide portion is disposed in the contact direction with respect to the first fixed contact.

Methods, apparatuses and systems for providing a switching component are disclosed herein. An example switching component may comprise: a housing; a moveable carrier a moveable carrier disposed within the housing; at least one integrated moveable contact assembly, the moveable contact assembly comprising a substrate, a set of moveable contacts disposed on a first surface of the substrate and a guiding element surrounding at least a portion of the substrate, wherein at least a portion of the guiding element is configured to abut a surface of the moveable carrier; and a set of stationary contacts adjacent the set of moveable contacts, wherein the set of moveable contacts is configured to move with two degrees of freedom to make contact with the set of stationary contacts in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the moveable carrier.

The first protrusion is disposed on the second terminal surface of the second terminal portion.
