CIRCUIT BREAKERS INCORPORATING RESET LOCKOUT MECHANISMS
Multi-pole and single-pole circuit breakers include a housing and a reset lockout mechanism disposed within the housing. The reset lockout mechanism disables electrical communication between line and load terminals of the circuit breaker if a predefined condition exists. Some circuit breakers include a single actuator, transition between ON and OFF states, and are capable of performing test functions. The test functions may involve testing AFCI and/or GFCI functions of the circuit breakers. The test functions may be performed when the circuit breaker transitions from an OFF state to an ON state. Some circuit breakers including a reset lockout mechanism may be powered only on its line side. Some circuit breakers provide an electrical indication when they are in the OFF state.
Attachment housing arrangement and method for unlocking
Plug connections and in particular plug connections for use in an industrial environment are presented. An attachment housing arrangement has an attachment housing for accommodating a hood of a plug connector with plug contacts and a mechanical locking arrangement for mechanically locking the hood on the attachment housing. Also presented is a method for unlocking a mechanical locking of a hood of a plug connector with plug contacts on an attachment housing of an attachment housing arrangement. The attachment housing arrangement is provided with a fixing arrangement for fixing the mechanical locking arrangement at least in a locking state, and with a control unit for controlling the fixing arrangement, the control unit being configured to control the fixing arrangement so as to release a fixing of the locking arrangement only when the plug contacts are free of current and free of voltage within predefined tolerances.

CIRCUIT BREAKER TO SWITCH BETWEEN TWO ENERGY SOURCES
A device and method for switching between a first power source and a second power source. The device includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal that connect to the first power source, a load, and the second power source respectively. A first switch and a breaker circuitry connect the first terminal to the second terminal. A second switch interrupts an electrical connection between the third terminal and the second terminal. A lever operably coupled to the first switch and the second switch, the lever can be actuated by the first switch to flip the second switch between the open state and the closed state.

Handle assembly
Handle assemblies for circuit breakers are disclosed. One illustrative handle assembly includes a housing defining a first aperture, a seal extending around a perimeter of the first aperture, a handle extending outwardly through the first aperture and pivotable about a pivot axis located within the housing, a shroud coupled to the handle to move therewith and located at least partially within the housing, and a biasing member connected to the handle and to the shroud. The shroud includes an outer surface that faces the seal, and the biasing member biases the outer surface into continuous engagement with the seal throughout an entire pivotable range of the handle.
