A fuse monitoring device for monitoring a fuse supported by a fuse block, the fuse monitoring device including a housing. The housing includes a holder attachment mechanism configured to connect the fuse monitoring device to a fuse block. The housing also includes a mounting attachment mechanism configured to connect the fuse monitoring device to a mounting structure and at least one sensor configured to be operably connected to a fuse and configured to measure fuse data associated with the fuse. The monitoring device further includes at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor.

A junction box assembly and a terminal assembly configured to prevent a short circuit is provided. In one aspect, the terminal assembly includes a pair of terminals spaced apart from each other and a spacer configured to retain the pair of terminals in a fixed position with respect to each other. In another aspect, the spacer includes a plurality of fuses, and each fuse is electrically connected to a corresponding slot so as to help prevent a power surge through a respective output portion of the terminal. In yet another aspect, the terminal housing has a side wall having a rib extending a height at least as high as the combined height of the output portion and terminal connector when the two are laid on top of each other, preventing the terminal connector from coming into contact with an adjacent terminal connector.

A fuse line fixing structure of a fuse includes a base having first and second support sections. The first support section has two sides each forming a first wing and a first concave surface is formed between the first support section and the first wings. First and second electrodes are respectively arranged at two ends of the base. The first electrode includes a first curved plate arranged between the first support section and the first wings. The first curved plate has a convex engagement surface positioned against the first concave surface and a concave engagement surface facing toward an upper side of the first concave surface. The fuse line straddles between the first and second support sections and has an outer circumferential surface in mutual contact, through surface to surface engagement, with the concave engagement surface of the first curved plate.

THERMALLY PROTECTED VARISTOR

A thermally protected varistor includes a varistor chip, a temperature fuse, and a lead line, wherein the varistor chip includes a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer, and the lead line includes a first lead line, a second lead line, and a third lead line. One end of the first lead line is connected to the first conductive layer, and the other end of the first lead line is led out. A first end of the temperature fuse is led out as the second lead line, and a second end of the temperature fuse is connected to the second conductive layer. One end of the third lead line is connected to the second conductive layer, and the other end of the third lead line is led out. The temperature fuse is an axial temperature fuse and is tightly attached to the varistor chip.

LOW PROFILE INTEGRATED FUSE MODULE

A fuse module including a mounting block formed of an electrically insulating material, the mounting block including a rear wall extending from a base, a fuse plate including an electrically conductive bus bar disposed on a bottom of the base, a fusible element electrically connected to the bus bar and disposed adjacent a rear of the rear wall, and a fuse terminal electrically connected to the fusible element and extending over a top of the rear wall, along a front of the rear wall, and onto a top of the base, the fuse module further including an electrically conductive terminal post extending from the top of the base through the fuse terminal for facilitating connection to an electrical component.
