Fuse protector with a plurality of fuses
A fuse protector with a plurality of fuses comprises a fuse protector base, a fuse carrier, and fuse elements. The fuse elements are disposed on the fuse carrier, and the fuse carrier is inserted in the fuse protector base. One side of the fuse protector base is provided with at least two wiring assemblies, and the other side of the fuse protector base is provided with at least two wiring assemblies. The fuse protector base is further provided with base contacts corresponding to the wiring assemblies. The fuse carrier is inserted into the fuse protector base. When the fuse carrier is pulled out of the fuse protector base, at least four breaking points are formed at the same time, and the voltage of an arc is distributed to the four contact points. Therefore, the voltage of the arc is effectively reduced, space is saved.
Fuse assembly with replaceable casing
A fuse assembly includes a casing having two slots defined through the first end thereof, and a conductive member is located in the casing and has a first end extending through the second end of the casing. The conductive member includes two blades with a fuse connected therebetween. A cap is detachably mounted to the first end of the casing and has a light member connected thereto. The light member has a leg portion which is electrically connected to a second end of the conductive member. The cap includes two arms which are detachably hooked to two positioning members on two sides of the casing to ensure the connection between the cap and the casing. When the fuse is burned off, the light member lights on, the cap is removed from the casing, and is detachably connected to a new casing with a functional fuse therein.

VEHICLE FUSE BOX FAULT INDICATOR
A vehicle is disclosed for indicating when a fuse is blown in a vehicle fuse box. An example vehicle includes an electrical system, a fuse box comprising a door and an inner panel, covered in part with respective luminous materials and a plurality of fuses positioned inside the fuse box, coupled to the electrical system. Each fuse comprise an LED coupled between terminals of the fuse, and a lens configured to direct light from the LED toward the door and the inner panel.

Fuse cutout monitoring and indication device
A device for monitoring and indicating a fuse tube detachment from a fuse cutout assembly contains a structural body, a tilt switch, a power source, a visual indicator, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism is used to mount the device onto the fuse tube. The tilt switch monitors the position of the fuse tube. More specifically, when the vertical position of the fuse tube changes to the dropped position the tilt switch is triggered. Thus, the visual indicator is illuminated. The illumination aids in the process of discovering the detached fuse tube. In addition to the visual indicator, the device can also be equipped with a wireless communication device and an alarm system. The wireless communication device can be used to provide the exact location of the detached fuse tube. On the other hand, the alarm system can be used to expedite the process of discovering the detached fuse tube.

MONITORING AND RECOVERABLE PROTECTION OF THERMOSTAT SWITCHING CIRCUITRY
A method may include operating a switching circuit in an on state and an off state to actuate a flow of electrical power through a load when switched to the on state; monitoring an electrical property associated with the switching circuit; receiving an enable signal from a processor to power the load; providing a drive signal to the switching circuit to switch to the on state and power the load; determining if an electrical anomaly is present based on the monitored electrical properties; causing the switching circuit to switch to the off state if an electrical anomaly is detected; providing a fault signal to the processor; determining while the switching circuit is off, if the electrical anomaly has been corrected; and after the anomaly has been corrected, causing the switching circuit to switch to the on state.
FIBER-WAVEGUIDE EVANESCENT COUPLER
Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for implementing a fiber-waveguide evanescent coupling. In one aspect, a device having integrated photonic components includes a substrate, a waveguide formed on the substrate to include a terminal waveguide portion that terminates at one side of the substrate, and a fiber including a fiber core and fiber cladding surrounding the fiber core, in which at least a portion of the fiber cladding is removed at or near a fiber terminal end to enable optical evanescent coupling via a side surface of the fiber core at the or near the fiber terminal end, the fiber core at the or near the fiber terminal end is placed over the one side of the substrate to be above and to overlap with the terminal waveguide portion of the waveguide to enable optical evanescent coupling via side surfaces of the fiber core and the waveguide.
