STRUCTURE AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING A SHOE WITH KNITTED UPPER
20240278518 · 2024-08-22 ·

A procedure for making a shoe with a knitted upper, including a series of steps in whichduring an upper shaping steponce the internal stocking has been placed on the shoe tree, a membrane element (3) is placed in position, which covers the portion corresponding to the sole of the shoe tree and a lateral portion. The membrane element is a single-body element formed of a polymer membrane that has adhesive material on both sides thereof and features a series of suitable shaped and positioned perforations (30). The membrane element is designed to create a support structure for the two stockings so that the shoe obtained has and maintains a structured shape. Once the upper is complete, a sole is constructed by injection moulding in order to create a shoe that is a single, homogeneous, compact, and structured body.

Running shoe with adaptive upper material

A running shoe with a lateral side, a medial side, a heel section, a forefoot section, and a midfoot section. A front end of the forefoot section forms a toe box and a rear end of the heel section forms a heel counter. The running shoe includes a sole and an upper, wherein the upper has a textile main material. The running shoe has tightening bands with at least one compressing tightening band and tensioning bands with at least one compressing tensioning band. The tightening bands are arranged in the heel section and in the midfoot section of the running shoe and in the forefoot section. At least one tightening band is configured to exert an inwards-directed compression force when the shoe is worn and is configured to run along a non-expanding line (line of non-extension) of the foot of the wearer when the shoe is worn.

A shoe outsole structure includes: a first outsole component made of a deformable soft resin material and configured to entirely support a plantar surface spreading from a forefoot to a hindfoot; and a second outsole component integrally formed on top of the first outsole component, made of a hard resin material which has a higher rigidity than the first outsole component, and configured to support a region, of the plantar surface, which is continuous from a rear portion, of the forefoot, located rearward of metatarsophalangeal joints to the hindfoot.

INTEGRATED SHOE SUPPORT STRUCTURE COMBINING HEEL COUNTER AND SHANK
20180343976 · 2018-12-06 · ·

Embodiments are described for a semi-rigid apparatus for use in conjunction with the sole and upper of a shoe or sandal. The apparatus involves a heel stabilizer shank enclosing a portion of the heel, with a shank extension from the medial side, a lightweight support structure running along the bottom of the foot between the outsole and insole stiffening the heel and midfoot. Both elements are made from a single piece of material that can be injection molded, 3D printed, or the like. The purpose of this apparatus is to provide all day comfort, protect the heel from lateral shifting, and stiffen the heel and midfoot for less strain on the foot.

HEELED FOOTWEAR AND METHOD OF PRODUCING HEELED FOOTWEAR
20180338581 · 2018-11-29 · ·

The invention relates to heeled footwear such as a shoe or boot comprising a sole assembly and a heel part. The heel part comprises an insert formed in a first material. The insert comprises a core body delimited by an upper surface, a lower bottom surface, and an outer surface connecting the upper and lower surfaces. At least a part of the outer surface is encased in a second material different from the first material. The outer material forms an outer contour layer of the heel part, and the sole assembly comprises an outsole formed in the second material, said second material being softer than the first material. The outsole and the outer contour layer are designed to be formed in one piece providing an outer sole unit being one component.

Article of footwear with sole member

An article of footwear has a sole member with an exposed central torsion bar or rod connecting the heel region of the sole member to the forefoot region of the sole member. The torsion bar or rod may be supported at either end by sockets of the sole member. The torsion bar or rod may also be supported at one or more intermediate points by a hollow component. This hollow component may itself be supported by ribs extending to the medial and lateral sides of the sole member, respectively. The torsion bar or rod, the sockets, the hollow component and the ribs form a suspension structure connecting the forefoot region of the sole member to the heel region of the sole member.

Cleated Footwear

Sole structures for articles of footwear (e.g., outsole components) have one or more of: a base plate having a V-shaped support structure with lateral and medial support members extending forward from a base support area located in a heel or rear midfoot area of the outsole component; a base plate having a matrix structure with recesses or openings formed between rib elements that make up the matrix structure; and/or a base plate having a rear heel support. The base plates may be made, at least in part, as unitary, one-piece constructions, using selective laser sintering or other three-dimensional printing and/or rapid manufacturing additive fabrication techniques.
