A cell according to the present disclosure includes: a solid electrolyte layer including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a fuel electrode on the first surface; an air electrode on the second surface; and a middle layer between the second surface and the air electrode. The middle layer=is a CeO.sub.2-type sintered body containing Si, the content of Si equivalent to or less than 150 ppm in terms of SiO.sub.2. A cell stack device includes a cell stack in which the plurality of cells is aligned. A module includes: a storage container; and the cell stack device that is housed in the storage container. A module housing device includes: an external case; the module and an auxiliary equipment that drives the module, which are housed in the external case.

The present invention relates to a unit cell for a solid-oxide fuel cell and to a solid-oxide fuel cell using same, and, more specifically, relates to: a unit cell for a solid-oxide fuel cell, wherein a fuel charging-and-discharging part and an air charging-and-discharging part are provided perpendicularly to a cathode comprised in the solid-oxide fuel cell; and a solid-oxide fuel cell using same.
FUEL CELL VEHICLE
A fuel cell vehicle is provided. The fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell including a cell stack configured such that a plurality of unit cells is stacked, a drive motor unit disposed below the fuel cell, a purge valve / drain valve assembly configured to discharge unreacted hydrogen and first condensate water flowing together out of the fuel cell, an air exhaust line configured to discharge unreacted oxygen and second condensate water flowing together out of the fuel cell, and a hydrogen exhaust line connecting the purge valve / drain valve assembly to the air exhaust line and disposed so as to avoid interference with the drive motor unit.

A fuel cell vehicle is provided. The fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell including a cell stack configured such that a plurality of unit cells is stacked, a drive motor unit disposed below the fuel cell, a purge valve / drain valve assembly configured to discharge unreacted hydrogen and first condensate water flowing together out of the fuel cell, an air exhaust line configured to discharge unreacted oxygen and second condensate water flowing together out of the fuel cell, and a hydrogen exhaust line connecting the purge valve / drain valve assembly to the air exhaust line and disposed so as to avoid interference with the drive motor unit.
Connecting element for electrically and mechanically connecting two electrolytic cell stacks, and electrolysis device
A connecting element electrically and mechanically connects two electrolytic cell stacks. An electrolysis device includes at least one connecting element of this type and the electrolytic cell stacks are connected by the connecting element. For the hydraulic connection of the electrolytic cell stacks, the connecting element has at least two hydraulic interfaces for each of two water circuits, which water circuits are independent of each other. Furthermore, the connecting element has electrical connection points electrically connected to each other, in order to connect the electrolytic cell stacks in a common circuit. By the connecting element, the connected electrolytic cell stacks can be hydraulically separated or connected to each other, depending on the design.
Connecting element for electrically and mechanically connecting two electrolytic cell stacks, and electrolysis device
A connecting element electrically and mechanically connects two electrolytic cell stacks. An electrolysis device includes at least one connecting element of this type and the electrolytic cell stacks are connected by the connecting element. For the hydraulic connection of the electrolytic cell stacks, the connecting element has at least two hydraulic interfaces for each of two water circuits, which water circuits are independent of each other. Furthermore, the connecting element has electrical connection points electrically connected to each other, in order to connect the electrolytic cell stacks in a common circuit. By the connecting element, the connected electrolytic cell stacks can be hydraulically separated or connected to each other, depending on the design.
Solid oxide fuel cell device
To provide a fuel cell device capable of extending the years of service life of a reformer by suppressing thermal runaways. The present invention is a solid oxide fuel cell device, including a fuel cell module having fuel cell units; a reformer disposed above the fuel cell units, for producing hydrogen by a partial oxidation reforming reaction and a steam reforming reaction; a vaporizing chamber disposed adjacent to the reformer; a combustion chamber for heating the vaporization chamber; a water supply device; an electrical generation oxidant gas supply device; and a controller for raising the fuel cell units to a temperature at which electrical generation is possible; whereby over the entire period of the startup step, the reforming oxidant gas supply device and water supply device are controlled so that partial oxidation reforming reactions do not occur independently in the reformer.

An electrochemical cell unit according to the present disclosure includes a flat plate type membrane electrode assembly having a structure in which an electrolyte membrane, a first electrode layer disposed on a first surface of the electrolyte membrane, and a second electrode layer disposed on a second surface of the electrolyte membrane are laminated; a first current collector in contact with the first electrode layer of the membrane electrode assembly; an interconnector electrically connected to the first current collector, a second current collector in contact with the second electrode layer of the membrane electrode assembly; and an outer peripheral part made of a metal material that surrounds an outer periphery of the first electrode layer together with the interconnector and the electrolyte membrane to form a gas introduction space for guiding internal gas to the first electrode layer.
