A fusing apparatus including a main connection member provided on a main path and having one side and the other side electrically connected to the main path, respectively, a sub connection member provided on a sub path and having one side and the other side electrically connected to the sub path, respectively, and a shifting member provided between the main connection member and the sub connection member and configured to be moved and coupled from the main connection member to sub connection member to shift a connection relation from a connected state of the main connection member to a connected state of the sub connection member.

A battery pack, includes: a battery cell comprising a main body comprising an electrode assembly, and a terrace part from which electrodes connected to the electrode assembly are drawn out; and a protection module package seated on the terrace part of the battery cell and electrically connected to the battery cell, wherein the protection module package includes: a circuit board includes: a first surface facing the terrace part of the battery cell; a second surface opposite to the first surface; a third surface, which is between the first and second surfaces and faces the main body of the battery cell; and a fourth surface opposite to the third surface and on which a test port is formed; and a connection tab connecting the battery cell to the circuit board.
Battery pack with overmolded module
Battery systems according to embodiments of the present technology may include a battery including a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal accessible along a first surface of the battery. The battery systems may also include a module electrically coupled with the battery. The module may include a first mold extending toward the battery. The first mold may define a recess along a first surface of the first mold proximate the first electrode terminal and the second electrode terminal. The module may include a first conductive tab electrically coupling the module with the first electrode terminal. The first electrode terminal may be at least partially positioned within a space defined by the recess defined by the first mold. The module may also include a second conductive tab electrically coupling the module with the second electrode terminal.
Battery system with flexible printed circuit
A method for connecting a flexible printed circuit (FPC) to a battery module and a cell supervision circuit board (CSCB) is provided. The method includes: providing a coil of a continuous, strip-shaped FPC; unwinding a first section of the FPC from the coil, positioning the first section of the FPC over a first contact portion of the battery module, and welding a conductive structure of the FPC in the first section to the first contact portion of the battery module; unwinding a second section of the FPC from the coil, positioning the second section of the FPC over a contact pad of the CSCB, and welding the conductive structure of the FPC in the second section to the contact pad of the CSCB; and separating the first section and second section of the FPC from the coil of the FPC.
BATTERY HAVING EXTERNAL CONNECTOR FOR BALANCE CHARGING AND DISCHARGING
A battery includes a case, in which a battery module, a battery management system and a junction terminal block are received. The battery module has cell blocks electrically connected in series, and each of the cell blocks has electrodes. The junction terminal block has a plurality of junction terminals to be electrically connected to the electrodes of the cell blocks through a plurality of junction wires respectively. The battery further has an external connector having a plurality of external terminals to be electrically connected to the junction terminals of the junction terminal block through a plurality of external wires. The external terminals of the external connector are electrically connected to the cell blocks through the external wires, the junction terminals of the junction terminal block and the junction wires respectively, so that all the cell blocks are able to be charged individually through the external connector.
DISTRIBUTED CELL FORMATION SYSTEMS FOR LITHIUM CONTAINING SECONDARY BATTERIES
A cell formation system for lithium containing secondary batteries includes a population of formation clusters, each formation cluster includes a connector configured for connecting to a lithium containing secondary battery, a charging module connected to the connector and configured to charge the battery, a pre-lithiation module connected to the connector and configured to diffuse lithium to electrode active material layers of the battery, a discharging module connected to the connector and configured to discharge the battery, and a communication interface for communicatively coupling the formation cluster to a central controller. In response to received instructions from the central controller, the formation cluster is configured to charge the battery using the charging module, diffuse lithium to the electrode active material layers of the battery using the pre-lithiation module, and discharge the secondary battery using the discharging module after lithium has been diffused to the electrode active material layers of the battery.
DISTRIBUTED CELL FORMATION SYSTEMS AND PRE-LITHIATION MODULES FOR LITHIUM CONTAINING SECONDARY BATTERIES
A pre-lithiation module for a lithium containing secondary battery includes a switched capacitor circuit, a pre-lithiation module controller connected to the switched capacitor circuit, a battery connector for electrical connection to an electrode busbar and a counter-electrode busbar of the lithium containing secondary battery, and a pre-lithiation connector for electrical connection to an auxiliary electrode of the lithium containing secondary battery. The pre-lithiation module controller includes a processor and a memory. The memory of the pre-lithiation module controller stores instructions that program the pre-lithiation module controller to operate the switched capacitor circuit to selectively conduct a current through the auxiliary electrode to diffuse lithium to electrode active material layers of the lithium containing secondary battery.

An apparatus for a bicycle includes an intermediate power connector configured for transmitting power between a bicycle component and a power source positioned remote from the bicycle component. The intermediate power connector has a coupling portion configured for removable attachment to a connecting portion of the bicycle component. The bicycle component can also include a battery having a battery coupling portion configured for removable attachment to the connecting portion of the bicycle component. The battery and the intermediate power connector can be selectively attachable to the bicycle component to provide power thereto.
