The battery has an opening hole penetrating the positive electrode current collector, the positive electrode active material layer, the solid electrolyte layer containing the solid electrolyte, the negative electrode active material layer, and the negative electrode current collector in a laminating direction and further includes a sealing member. In cross-sectional view perpendicular to the laminating direction, the sealing member is located between the opening hole and each of the positive electrode active material layer, the solid electrolyte layer, and the negative electrode active material layer.

In plan view, the sealing member is located outside the solid electrolyte layer. In cross-sectional view perpendicular to a laminating direction, the sealing member is disposed in a region sandwiched between a part of the positive electrode current collector and a part of the negative electrode active material layer and a region sandwiched between another part of the positive electrode current collector and a part of the negative electrode current collector.
