A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly disposed within a constraint. The electrode assembly comprises a population of unit cells comprising an electrode current collector layer, an electrode layer, a separator layer, a counter-electrode layer, and a counter-electrode current collector layer in stacked succession. A subset of the unit cell population includes extended spacer members between the electrode current collector layer and the counter-electrode current collector layer. One of the spacer members is spaced in a transverse direction from the other extended spacer member, at least a portion of the counter-electrode active material of the counter-electrode layer being located between the spacer members such that the portion of the counter-electrode active material and the spacer members lie in a common plane defined by x and z axes, wherein each of the extended spacer members extend a distance SD in the x-axis direction beyond an x-axis edge of the constraint.

In some embodiments, the electrode assembly includes: a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate that are of opposite polarities, where an active material region of the first electrode plate and an active material region of the second electrode plate are wound to form a body portion, a non-active material region of the first electrode plate or a non-active material region of the second electrode plate is wound to form a tab, and the tab includes a bend portion bent against the body portion; and a guide piece. At least a part of the guide piece is located in the bend portion, and the guide piece is configured to guide an electrolytic solution into an interior of the body portion.

The disclosure relates to a technical field of batteries, and a battery and a battery apparatus are provided. The battery includes a cell, and the cell includes a cell body and tab portions. Each of the tab portions extends from one side of the cell body. The battery further includes a housing. The housing is a hollow structure, and the hollow structure is formed inside the housing. The cell is disposed in the housing, and the housing includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The first surface is provided with liquid injecting holes, and the liquid injecting holes penetrate the first surface and do not penetrate the second surface. An orthographic projection of the cell body on the first surface does not overlap the liquid injecting holes.

The disclosure relates to the technical field of batteries, and particularly relates to a battery container, a battery pack, and a battery assembling method. The battery container includes a bottom plate, a first fixing member disposed on the bottom plate, and a second fixing member disposed on the bottom plate. The second fixing member and the first fixing member are arranged opposite to each other. A battery accommodating part is formed between the first fixing member and the second fixing member. A surface of the first fixing member facing the second fixing member has a first groove, and a surface of the second fixing member facing the first fixing member has a second groove. The first groove and the second groove are configured to remove a clamp from the battery container during assembly.

A battery includes: a power generating element including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; a structure located above a first main surface of the power generating element and having insulating properties; and a laminate film accommodating the power generating element and the structure, wherein a gap is located between the first main surface and the laminate film such that the gap is in contact with the structure.
