BATTERY PACK

A battery pack includes a battery assembly including battery cells parallel to one another and an outer case. Each battery cell includes a discharge valve provided on an end surface thereof, and an end-surface electrode provided at an end portion thereof. A welding surface of the lead plate is connected to the end-surface electrode arranged on the same plane. The battery pack includes a backflow-restricting layer disposed on a non-welding surface of the lead plate in the outer case. The lead plate has a gas permeation gap therein allowing a gas discharged from the discharge valve to pass in a discharge direction of the backflow-restricting layer. The backflow-restricting layer includes a resistance part configured to allow the gas passing through gas permeation gap to pass in the discharge direction, and to suppress or prevent the exhaust gas from passing in a direction opposite to the discharge direction.

A battery cell, a battery pack and an electronic device with improved durability by reducing bend-induced damage, whereby a battery cell includes at least two battery units, each including a plurality of electrode leads, an electrode assembly, an electrolyte solution and an inner pouch in which the electrode assembly and the electrolyte solution are received, wherein at least one of the plurality of electrode leads of one battery unit is inserted into the other battery unit and electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and an outer pouch including at least two receiving portions in which the at least two battery units are received respectively, and a bending portion in which a part of the plurality of electrode leads is disposed and a part between the at least two receiving portions is bent.

Busbar assembly

A busbar assembly comprises an elongated support structure with a bottom, two side walls, extending in a length direction (L) along longitudinal sides, two spaced-apart central ridges extending in the length direction (L), a signal line, connected to the support structure between the central ridges, conductor members positioned between the side walls and an adjacent central ridge, adapted for interconnecting terminals of battery cells that are adjacent when seen in the length direction (L). The sidewalls and the ridges each extend at a cover side of the bottom and define top adhesive surface strips with respective widths Ws, Wc, the strips being situated in a connecting plane and adapted for adhesive connection to a top plate of a battery pack casing.
