A battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a first tab and a second tab located on two ends of the electrode assembly, respectively, in a first direction. The battery cell further includes a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal located on two sides of the electrode assembly, respectively, in the first direction, a first adapter configured to couple the first tab and the first electrode terminal, and a second adapter configured to couple the second tab and the second electrode terminal. The first adapter and the second adapter each comprise at least two non-bending portions and at least one bending portion each connecting two adjacent ones of the at least two non-bending portions. A number of the at least two non-bending portions of the second adapter is greater than a number of the at least two non-bending portions of the first adapter.

A battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a first tab and a second tab located on two ends of the electrode assembly, respectively, in a first direction. A pouch type secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a pouch type secondary battery in which a cell assembly, including an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked with a separator interposed therebetween, at least one electrode tab protruding from the electrode assembly, and an electrode lead connected to the electrode tab, is housed in a pouch case, wherein the secondary battery comprises a lead film positioned between the pouch case and the electrode lead, and wherein the lead film comprises a first sealing part in a region far from the electrode assembly and a second sealing part in a region close to the electrode assembly, and a thickness of the second sealing part is larger than a thickness of the first sealing part.

A pouch type secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a pouch type secondary battery in which a cell assembly, including an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked with a separator interposed therebetween, at least one electrode tab protruding from the electrode assembly, and an electrode lead connected to the electrode tab, is housed in a pouch case, wherein the secondary battery comprises a lead film positioned between the pouch case and the electrode lead, and wherein the lead film comprises a first sealing part in a region far from the electrode assembly and a second sealing part in a region close to the electrode assembly, and a thickness of the second sealing part is larger than a thickness of the first sealing part.

A power storage device includes a case, a power storage element disposed in the case, a lead connected to an electrode of the power storage element, a sealing member sealing an opening of the case. The sealing member includes a gasket and a sealing plate having conductivity. The gasket includes a base having a disk shape. The base is disposed between the sealing plate and the power storage element. The base has a through-hole formed therein. The sealing plate includes a protrusion inserted in the through-hole. The protrusion of the sealing plate is connected to the lead. The protrusion is configured to be displaced in a direction away from the lead in accordance with an increase of an internal pressure of the case so as to be disconnected from the lead.

A power storage device includes a case, a power storage element disposed in the case, a lead connected to an electrode of the power storage element, a sealing member sealing an opening of the case. The sealing member includes a gasket and a sealing plate having conductivity. The gasket includes a base having a disk shape. The base is disposed between the sealing plate and the power storage element. The base has a through-hole formed therein. The sealing plate includes a protrusion inserted in the through-hole. The protrusion of the sealing plate is connected to the lead. The protrusion is configured to be displaced in a direction away from the lead in accordance with an increase of an internal pressure of the case so as to be disconnected from the lead.

This application provides embodiments including a connection member and a rechargeable battery. The connection member includes a guide plate and a first connecting plate integrally formed on the guide plate, where the first connecting plate is disposed in a bendable manner relative to the guide plate, and at least one indentation is present between the first connecting plate and the guide plate. In the embodiments, a bending position is more accurate when the first connecting plate is bent relative to the guide plate. This is conducive to an accurate size of the connection member being bent, and is also helpful for the rechargeable battery to successfully assemble a battery core, the connection member, and a housing.

A cylindrical secondary battery configured to have a structure to which an adhesion unit, including an adhesive material, a conductive material, and a gas-generating material, is provided. The adhesion unit is configured to couple a cap assembly, which functions as a positive electrode terminal of the cylindrical secondary battery, and a positive electrode tab of a jelly-roll type electrode assembly to each other.

The secondary battery includes a terminal member provided on the outer case with an insulating material interposed therebetween and connected to a tab of the electrode assembly. The outer case is provided with a cavity through which the tab passes, the terminal member is bonded onto a surface of the outer case with the insulating material interposed therebetween, the surface being positioned around the cavity, and a part of a width dimension of a bonding region provided to surround the cavity for the bonding is reduced.
