Reactive power combiners and dividers including nested coaxial conductors
A power divider/combiner includes a main conductor defining an axis and having an outer surface; an input connector, at a front end, having a center conductor, electrically coupled to the main conductor and having an axis aligned with the main conductor axis; a first hollow cylindrical conductor having an open end facing rearwardly, having an inner cylindrical surface, the main conductor being received in and spaced apart from the inner cylindrical surface, the first hollow cylindrical conductor being electrically coupled to the second conductor of the input connector; a second hollow cylindrical conductor having an open end facing forwardly, the first cylindrical conductor being received in and spaced apart from the inner cylindrical surface of the second cylindrical conductor; a third hollow cylindrical conductor having an open back end facing rearwardly, the second cylindrical conductor being received in and spaced apart from the inner cylindrical surface of the third cylindrical conductor; and a plurality of output connectors, the output connectors being angularly spaced apart relative to each other, the output connectors having center conductors electrically coupled to the third cylindrical conductor. Methods are also provided.
Radio frequency filter having cavity structure
The present disclosure relates to a radio frequency filter having a cavity structure, and including a housing having internally a hollow space and an open side to provide at least one cavity, at least one resonance element located in the hollow space of the housing, a cover configured to have at least one groove which is internally threaded, recessed at a predetermined diameter and depth at a position corresponding to the resonance element, and has a bottom portion that is thinner than other portions, and to close the open side of the housing, and at least one frequency tuning screw configured to threadedly mate with the groove of the cover. When the frequency tuning screw threadedly mates with the groove, a bottom surface of the groove is depressed by the frequency tuning screw toward the resonant element.

In certain aspects, a receiver includes first amplifiers, wherein each one of the first amplifiers comprises an input and an output. The receiver also includes second amplifiers, wherein each one of the second amplifiers comprises an input and an output, and the outputs of the second amplifiers are coupled to a combining node. The receiver also includes transmission lines, wherein each one of the transmission lines is coupled between the output of a respective one of the first amplifiers and the input of a respective one of the second amplifiers. The receiver further includes a load coupled to the combining node, and receiver elements, wherein each one of the receiver elements comprises an input and an output, and the output of each one of the receiver elements is coupled to the input of a respective one of the first amplifiers.
Multi-common port multiband filters
A technology for a dual-common port multi-bandpass filter is described. The dual-common port multi-bandpass filter can include two or more analog filters. The dual-common port multi-bandpass filter can include a first common port coupled to an input of each of the two or more analog filters, where each analog filter can be configured to filter one or more frequency bands. The dual-common port multi-bandpass filter can include a second common port coupled to an output of each of the two or more analog filters. Each input of each of the two or more analog filters can be impedance matched with the first common port. Each output of each of the two or more analog filters can be impedance matched with the second common port.
Power couplers and related devices having antenna element power absorbers
A power coupler includes an input port, first and second output ports and an antenna element that is electrically coupled between the first output port and the second output port or that is electrically coupled to an isolation port of the power coupler. The power coupler is configured to split a radio frequency signal incident at the input port and/or to combine radio signals incident at the respective first and second output ports.

A band-stop filter comprises: a housing having a top wall, a bottom wall and at least one side wall, the housing defining an internal cavity; a signal input port and a signal output port that are respectively disposed on one of the at least one side wall; a resonating element that is disposed in the internal cavity and includes a top, a bottom, and a side; and a transmission line that is disposed in the internal cavity and coupled between the signal input port and the signal output port, the transmission line comprising a coupling section that is coupled to the resonating element, wherein the coupling section is configured to surround more than half of the side of the resonating element and not directly contact the housing and the resonating element.
Electronic device including radio frequency (RF) filter module with stacked coaxial resonators and related methods
An electronic device may include a housing, a first printed circuit board (PCB) carried by the housing and radio frequency (RF) circuitry on the PCB, and an RF filter module carried by the PCB. The RF filter module may include a second PCB carried by the first PCB, a plurality of first coaxial resonators arranged in side-by-side relation on the second PCB, and at least one second coaxial resonator stacked on the plurality of first coaxial resonators, and interconnect circuitry coupling the plurality of first coaxial resonators and the at least one second coaxial resonator to the second PCB.
FILTER AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM INCLUDING THE FILTER
Filters include a housing having a top wall, a bottom wall and one or more side walls that define an internal cavity; a plurality of resonators that are mounted within the internal cavity with a first space provided between a pair of adjacent resonators; and a coupling-tuning element mounted on one of the walls of the housing. The coupling-tuning element comprises one or more solid dielectric materials and is capable of extending into the first space to tune the coupling characteristics between the pair of adjacent resonators.

Filter devices are provided herein. A filter device includes a plurality of low-band resonators and a plurality of high-band resonators. In some embodiments, adjacent ones of the plurality of high-band resonators are spaced farther apart from each other than adjacent ones of the plurality of low-band resonators are spaced apart from each other.
