Level Measurement Device
A level measurement device for measuring a level (L) of a product, in particular a product contained in a container, comprising: mounting means for mounting said measurement device at a measurement site, an antenna comprising a dielectric antenna element for transmitting microwave signals (S) towards the product and/or for receiving echo signals (R) resulting from reflections of the transmitted microwave signals, and measurement electronics for determining the level (L) of the product based on a transit time needed for the microwave signals to travel to a surface of the product and of their echo signals to return to the device, is described allowing to prevent deposits to build up, which may eventually impair transmission and/or reception of the signals. To this extent, the measurement device according to the invention comprises a cap covering said dielectric antenna element and cleaning means for cleaning said cap are foreseen, which cause said cap to vibrate when they are activated.
RADAR MODULE
A radar module for process automation including process measurement technology and the automation industry is provided, the radar module including: a radar signal source configured to generate and to transmit, and/or to receive, a radar signal; and a dielectric radar signal guide configured to receive the radar signal and then to transmit the radar signal to an antenna, a waveguide, and/or a dielectric lens, the dielectric radar signal guide being arranged at a predetermined distance from the radar signal source, forming an intermediate space, and an end face of the dielectric radar signal guide facing the radar signal source at least partially has a metallic layer.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING THE LEVEL OF A MEDIUM
Apparatus is disclosed for detecting a first medium such as sludge having a relatively low dielectric constant wherein the first medium is located below a second medium such as water having a relatively high dielectric constant. The apparatus comprises a probe adapted to launch a pulse signal at a lower extremity thereof such that the pulse signal enters the first medium before being transferred or transmitted to the second medium. The first medium may be located at or near a bottom of a vessel and the second medium may be located above the first medium. A method for detecting the first medium located below the second medium is also disclosed.
MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION BOARD FOR A PORTABLE GENERATOR
A portable generator is disclosed including a mounting arrangement for positioning a wireless communication device on a control panel of the portable generator. The mounting arrangement includes a mounting platform formed from a composite material where the mounting platform is secured to a rear surface of a front panel of the control panel assembly. The front panel includes a transmission cutout. The mounting platform includes a transmission window such that a wireless antenna of the wireless communication device can be aligned with the transmission cutout. The portable generator further includes a fuel sensing device that generates both a visual indication and an output signal indicative of the level of fuel in a fuel tank. The output signal can be transmitted by the wireless communication device to a remote location for remote fuel monitoring.

A waveguide for connecting measurement circuitry to an antenna in a radar level gauge, the waveguide comprising: a first tubular waveguide section having a female connecting portion, the first tubular waveguide section having a first abutment surface on an outer surface; a second tubular waveguide section having a male connecting portion arranged within the female connection portion so that the first and second waveguide portions are movable relative each other in an axial direction and to provide a continuous tubular passage through the waveguide, the second tubular waveguide section having a second abutment surface; and a spring arranged to abut against the first abutment surface and the second abutment surface.
Wireless signal device
A wireless signal device is provided. The wireless signal device includes a device body, a fastening belt, a wireless signal module and a switch unit. The device body includes a through hole. A fixed end of the fastening belt is affixed to the device body, and a free end of the fastening belt is adapted to be inserted into the through hole. The wireless signal module is disposed in the device body. The switch unit is disposed in the device body, wherein in a signal transmission mode, the fastening belt passes through the through hole, and the switch unit is pressed by the fastening belt to activate the wireless signal module.
