Aspects of the present disclosure includes a method of manufacturing a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, including connecting a first wire and a second wire across a chip, maintaining the spaced apart distance between the first wire and the second wire adjacent to each side of the chip to define a spaced apart segment of the first wire and the second wire that forms part of an inductive loop, connecting the first wire and the second wire at each side of the chip distal from and adjacent to the spaced apart segment of the first wire and the second wire to close the inductive loop, define connected wire segments, and to form an RFID assembly, and moving the RFID assembly through a casing material at or above a glass transition temperature of the casing material to encase the RFID assembly.

Meanwhile, the first patch and the second patch may be connected to the ground layer through multiple vias, and the multiple vias may be arranged in the longitudinal direction of the slot while being adjacent to the slot.

A current may be induced into the loop through an interaction with a magnetic field generated by an antenna connected to a power source. BROADBAND DUAL-POLARIZED SOLAR CELL ANTENNA AND ANTENNA ARRAY

The present disclosure provides a broadband dual-polarized solar cell antenna and an antenna array. The broadband dual-polarized solar cell antenna includes an antenna dipole layer, an isolation layer, a solar cell layer, and a ground that are arranged sequentially from top to bottom, where the antenna dipole layer is connected to the ground and a radio frequency (RF) coaxial connector through a metal feeding probe structure, the solar cell layer is placed on the ground, the isolation layer is located between the antenna dipole layer and the solar cell layer, and the isolation layer is made of a transparent material. The present disclosure is small in sunlight shielding and high in transparency, and has a broadband dual-polarized wide-angle scanning capability, which ensures performance of the antenna and power generation efficiency of the solar cell, and is highly applicable in engineering.

According to an embodiment, an antenna includes a conductive antenna element, a voltage-bias conductor, and a polarization-compensation conductor. The conductive antenna element is configured to radiate a first signal having a first polarization, and the voltage-bias conductor is coupled to a side of the antenna element and is configured to radiate a second signal having a second polarization that is different from the first polarization. And the polarization-compensating conductor is coupled to an opposite side of the antenna element and is configured to radiate third a signal having a third polarization that is approximately the same as the second polarization and that destructively interferes with the second signal. Such an antenna can be configured to reduce cross-polarization of the signals that its antenna elements radiate.

The signal generator may is configured to generate a microwave signal. The metamaterial switch is configured to generate a modulated microwave signal from the microwave signal. The modulated microwave signal is generated by selectively passing the microwave signal through the metamaterial switch. The metamaterial switch includes a first conductive plate and a first loaded conductive plate. The first loaded conductive plate includes a second conductive plate and a first monolayer graphene. The first monolayer graphene includes a first tunable conductivity. The first monolayer graphene is positioned between the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate. An effective permittivity of the metamaterial switch is configured to be adjusted to a predetermined value. The effective permittivity of the metamaterial switch is adjusted responsive to tuning the first tunable conductivity.
