An antenna packaging module and an electronic device are provided. The antenna packaging module includes: an antenna substrate, a radiator, a second laminated circuit, a feed structure, and a conductive array assembly. A first laminated circuit and a ground layer are disposed on two opposite sides of the antenna substrate, respectively. The radiator is disposed on a side of the first laminated circuit away from the antenna substrate. The second laminated circuit is disposed on a side of the ground layer away from the antenna substrate. The feed structure extends through the second laminated circuit, the ground layer, the antenna substrate and the first laminated circuit. The feed structure electrically connects a radio frequency chip and the radiator. The conductive array assembly includes a number of conductive structures. The conductive structures extend through the antenna substrate and are electrically connected with the ground layer.

A communication device includes a ground plane, an antenna array, and an EBG (Electromagnetic Band Gap) structure. The antenna array includes a plurality of antenna elements. The EBG structure includes a plurality of EBG units. The EBG units are coupled to the ground plane. The antenna array is surrounded by the EBG structure. The EBG structure is configured to suppress the front-to-back ratio of the radiation efficiency of the antenna array.

A phase control structure includes a metal electrode plate, a stub portion, a switch and a ground plate. The metal electrode plate includes a first surface and a second surface, and one end of the stub portion is connected to the second surface. The metal electrode plate and the ground plate are disposed on a top surface and a bottom surface of a substrate, respectively. The substrate is disposed with a via hole. The second surface of the metal electrode plate contacts the top surface of the substrate. The stub portion is disposed in the via hole without contacting the ground plate. One end of the switch is connected to another end of the stub portion, and the ground plate is connected to another end of the switch. The switch is configured to receive a control signal to be one of an on state and an off state.

The grounding structure includes a ground plane having a coupling aperture therethrough. The feeding structure includes a single strip feedline for feeding the radiating elements. The strip feedline passes across the coupling aperture and feeds the radiating structure through the coupling aperture. At least one of the radiating elements is fed through at least one other radiating element across the corresponding radiating slot.
